Changes in my sleep pattern, for me, personally, are always an indicator that I'm swining into a mood state.

I hope that this passes soon for you

Sleep difficulties can be caused by stress which can be a possible sign of heading into an episode but sometimes not, sometimes sleep problems are just that, insomnia. Just keep a look out for overly elevated mood etc.
