Is this normal?

I forgot to take my meds for about a week and I was bouncing off the walls. Everything seemed sped up. My head was racing. I kept seeing people standing there staring at me. I also kept hearing things. I was barely getting any sleep. I eventually got back on the meds. I got depressed afterwards for awhile, but now I'm fine.

Other than that I'm doing okay. The episode only lasted for about a week.

I wanted to know if it was normal to go into an episode so suddenly. It happened like 2 days after I stopped my meds.

Hello jtassar93: You know... people's reactions to med's, as well as to not taking them on time, are so individual I kind-of doubt you could really say what is normal. Personally I've gone on-&-off med's, & forgotten to take med's, & never had any real difficulties. But I've also read posts written by other members here who have had quite a bit of difficulty even if they just missed a dose by a few hours. It sounds like you are more in the camp of people who have had difficulty. Hope you do not have to go through this again! Best wishes...

Oh ya sweety....it takes me no time to catch back onto the cycling, like it never really went away, it was just masked or something. I'm afraid of stopping to go back to the same.
