Sorry things are so tough for you right now. I've felt the same way when going through depressive episodes, especially if I'm also anxious, which is usually the case. FWIW, what you're describing doesn't sound like psychosis, but more like a common symptom of depression.

Do you see a pdoc or therapist? Are you on meds?

I have Bi polar, I have been phycotic (spelling) delusional, angry, crazy ups and downs. Psychosis is when you lose touch with reality. You dont know where you are, who you are, etc~~ UFOs are landing in your backyard and you only see them. That is psychosis. Hope I helped. I have been through it ,its really scary!! Chris

I get delusional, but that's about it. No visual or auditory hallucinations.

Here's my first hand experience with psychotic episodes :My mother when she had psychotic episodes was hearing and answering voices from inside her head; she got obsessed with thinking certain people were watching her and that neighbors were in our basement (when they weren't)

When my sister had a psychotic episode she thought the governor was trying to communicate with her and that she was getting special messages from ordinary things that people were saying to her.
