Does anyone suffer from psychosis? Auditory hallucinations, not the alters, but hearing people outside my house. I go outside and there's no one there. I see people who aren't there. And exetremely paranoid. In fact I don't know why I'm writing this cause you all are just laughing at me anyways. I haven't slept in a few days. Well I went to sleep at 3am and got up at 7am. That's a little. But you know. Maybe it's the rain. I cry a lot. Just wondering if anyone else does this stuff. I get like this a lot. Have since my early teens. The doc says it's the depression. Guess I should take meds. But I stopped that. They make me fat. I have to be skinny. People call me fat a lot. I hear them in the store talking about how fat I am. I don't want to get yelled at. Ok

I am not laughing at all. I know what a hard decision it is between the weight gain and the relief meds can bring. As this is causing you so much distress maybe meds can help? There are many meds out there that maybe you can find one that does not cause weight gain. I am sorry you are faced with such a hard decision.

Oh (((((((((((Monty)))))))))))) I know it's been hard for you. There are some meds that don't cause weight gain. Hopefully you can try a different kind.

I know you don't want to tell T too much, and you've been really struggling with a whole lot, and depression can cause some of that maybe, but if you get so you're not so safe, maybe tell him at least some- to keep ya'll safe?

We care about you Monty and we want you to be safe, k?

PM me if you want/need to. I'm here, k? And thanks for reaching out to us. We all care about you.

Thanks everyone for commenting. I'm just stuck in this right now. Think the complete lack of sleep is making everything so much worse. I don't have anywhere to turn and that a hard part. I couldn't take meds now if I wanted to. I can't afford to go to a doctor. Then I wouldn't be able to afford the meds if they gave me any. I only see my T once a month if I'm lucky. And I haven't been able to pay him for awhile. I don't know. I worry so much. I don't want to make any more bills I can't afford. I'm about to lose my car if I can't find a job soon. But now I'm to the point where I'm terrified to leave the house. I have to get up early to take a test for a class I take online. I have to go to the campus for my test. I'm so terrified about leaving the house I can't study. I know I'll fail this class. I'm just a failure.

Hi Moose
At the age of 15 I was diagnosed with psychotic depression and been hospitalized with it a number of times. Think my depression reaches a point where there is so much stress and I get so depressed something in my head gets switched on.

It's hard, I hear the voices of my alters, but I can tell they are from inside my head and they don't scare me. But the voices with the psychosis is way different. It's from outside my head. That's the really scarey part. It's like I have no control, that I'm really going crazy.

I have DID and the pdocs also think I have some form of psychosis. I don't believe my psychosis diagnosis though. I struggle with some delusions, at least according to the psychiatrist. My hallucinations are not that bad, I just hear and see things very rarely. I have around 10 personalities and some I am aware of and others I'm not as aware. In some of the personalities they speak a different language and it isn't a real language. One of them is a bird who speaks gibberish and believes he or she can fly. I am a woman. I have some unusual personalities that are not typical with DID. I think my mind controls criminals all over the world to murder people and I pray that I didn't do it. The FBI and CIA are after me because of it and put chips in my body to control me. Just remember I love the government for spying on me.

I am DID and I hate the voices within but yes I have had voices from without too. They were the loudest voices I've ever heard and no one I've tried to tell them about them understood so Ive kept quiet.
I will talk of them if ok with you but know many may not understand but I've come to realize that there are some things that no one can explain not even phsycology.
