Lately I have been finding things stashed away bought when on the way "up"
Sometimes it's awesome (wow when did I get this bag of expensive makeup!? Score!)
Other times its like omg what was i thinking
Yikes! Lol

But I didn't expect to feel sad.
I liked, LOVED that feeling heading up

But now I'm looking back like wow
What a bunch of wasted time
Hard on my family
Hard on my brain...my life
I think about the hospital now and idk
I never want to be there again
Not for all the I'm walking on sunshine mania in the world

So much regret

Feel the fear in my enemy's eyes

Now the old king is dead! Long live the king!
One minute I held the key
Next the walls were closed on me
And I discovered that my castles stand
Upon pillars of salt and pillars of sand

I live with a lot of regret. I completely understand! Mine destroyed my marriage. Now I am afraid to get into relationships and wonder if I will ever get remarried. I understand regret, but I also take second by second, minute by minute, hour by hour etc. I am learning how to forgive myself. Hang in there. You are not alone.

Thx!
I'm sorry about you marriage but totally get it
I think it's why I have stayed single and kept only casual relationships (after a couple long unhealthy ones)
And in that sense I put my health in danger the last manic episode
Sometimes I feel like I am playing me on a made for TV movie
Who the hell am I lol

Sometimes I have clothes in the closet with the price tags still on. I find them and wonder when I bought them.

It's kinda like not being able to pick your relatives, regret is married to mania....the in-law you would rather not have to acknowledge.

Lord don't get me started on the in-laws. One thanksgiving I worked hard on dinner and I have a special needs child and my other child was just 1 years old plus I worked a lot of hours but I did cook dinner for the whole family and there was a good amount of them. My sister in law was pregnant with her third child third baby daddy and she's on welfare. Anyway her and her brother got into it not my husband but there other brother. They almost got into a fist fight at the table. I was shocked and mad. She was was due in just a couple of weeks. I managed to get all the kids out of the room and then people left I have never had his side of the family over again for a holiday dinner

Has for clothes I look in my closet and there are clothes with tags on them and I think A. When am I ever going to wear this and B. Why would I buy this

You are learning to forgive yourself. That is a great accomplishment! You need to know how elusive that ability is. I think I have only begun to tap into it this last year. I wanted you to know that. Sincere Congratulations on learning a great gift. We have GOT to be our own best friends. Forgiveness must be learned to go on to learn like, appreciation, respect, admiration, and eventually love of self.

If I didn't have regret to constantly wallow in, I wouldn't have anything to occupy my mind.

And as for manic shopping: I have a box sitting by my computer filled with white boxes. All Apple devices that I bought in a spree thing that I needed more than one.

I'm going into one of those "hate myself" modes and my myriad regrets will overtake me soon.

Ciderguy please try to not let it consume. I know it is hard. Every now and then I regret things when memories come rushing back in. I wish I could **** off my brain. You figure with all the meds I would be able to.
