I'm currently thinking about giving Abilify a try again. I took it once at 20mg and had bad restless leg so I had to quit. But I've heard different things about different doses. What is the low dose used for vs the high? What are people's experiences on either?

I took 30 MG for mania and psychosis before my pdoc decided I needed something stronger; I never had any issues with it. Now that I am almost weaned from it, I am having some psychotic symptoms, but that may be because I was weaned from (or actually abruptly stopped) haldol as well. I am titrating up on Clozapine at the moment

The first time I took Abilify I had akathesia - I felt like crawling out of my skin. My pdoc had me try it again after a few years and it has worked well for me. I have no side effects from it.

I take 15 mg up from 10 after a brief but severe depressive episode. Increasing the dose had a fairly immediate effect.

I'm on 15 mg, up from 10mg since about a week and a half go, to try to relieve paranoia. I don't notice anything different except more headaches, but that is also probably due to vision changes.

I noticed some extra restlessness when I first started the 15 mg, but I'm taking Cogentin too and it helps with the Akathisia (doesn't help tremors for me at all, though).
