During one of my longest unchecked self medicated manic phases I completely remodeled a rental house. Had a crew of 12 I needed to manage.

Then I came here to Costa Rica, designed, bought all the materials hired all the people. Transferred all the money for payroll. Started construction on a pool house,caretakers apt. New house on the hill with better view. Remodeled kitchen in original house. On and on.

Then it stopped before the floors were in and tub upstairs was finished.

I fell apart. Tried seeing a T every day and Pdoc once a week. Manag

I managed to say out of hospital for about a year. Then I came back here to Costa Rica started work on all the projects. Then quit again.
Then spent May-Aug in and out of hospital. I had my last ECT brain fry treatment in Sept or Nov.
Now I'm back in CR. Can't hardly walk the dog.
Can't have too many people around or I start feeling like an episode is creaping back into my psyche.
Tons of unfinished projects in USA too. Fallout from other Episodes Psycotic mania. I feel screwed.
I have a painter here working on maintenance. But no new projects. Everything in the jungle gets ate up quick. From the termites. Ocean salt water breezes. Tree roots. Cement eating infects.
My meds make me feel a little apathetic.

Can you hire someone to take care of a room at a time? kinda like cleaning but not? Try to hire a company to finish all your US projects before you come home. Do you like your pdoc there?

Hi Miguel's Mom.
One of the other concerns is I have a little ocd. I'm a perfectionist.
Now I'm super indecisive.

I've always managed my projects. And come in under budget.

1.husband wants to retire. That effectively shuts the money tap. He has been with the company 34 years. Our stock is down 40%

2. He's too young to collect his pension. We are both too young for Social Security.

3. Can't sell any assets yet as they all need either some kind of maintenance or are torn up.

4. Haven't recovered from an Earthquake that ruined whole house outside and inside. Borrowed 165,000$$ to repair/rebuild it. I was hands on for about a year. Then lost my crew and wanted a break anyway. I'm either super creative or blank. Kinda like writers block.
5 Went to a resort in Mexico for a week. Felt a little better,but still in bed a lot.

6 came here to Costa Rica to recover from the electric brain fry treatments. ECT. I'm regaining a few memories. Trying to read old payroll accts. Old plan books. Where did I leave off. Why did I buy this ceramic tile. Where was it going? What was kitchen design for new house. Who works for me? Do I have thier numbers? Was I happy with them ?
