Do any of you get really freaked out when say your husband / wife / significant other goes out and you text them or call and they don't answer? For example my husband had a doctors appointment today at 1pm, it was supposed to be a quick check in with the nurse that usually takes 15 minutes, 30 max...it's now 3pm and I haven't heard from him. I'd expected him to be home by now, and he's not returning my texts. I am freaking out really badly. I am sure there is a rational explanation but I've gone into panic mode.

Does this happen to anyone else? It happens to me quite frequently when I'm manic and I don't know how to manage it.

Is he bad at using his phone?

My mom is awful with phones. She butt dials me and everything!

Whenever I try to call her, she never picks up the damn thing. She also doesn't text back! Like, there was one time she said she was going to drive to the local convenience store in the middle of a blizzard. Well, she was gone for 2 hours. She didn't pick up her phone, so we thought something bad happened to her. Nope. Turns out she went to visit one of her friends!

I used to get freaked out by it, but then I realized she's a lost cause.
Thanks for this!

He's usually pretty good about answering his phone. Sometimes he doesn't hear it but he's usually really quick to answer. So I get super paranoid when he doesn't.

He just got home....turns out he rode his bike to the doctors office and didn't take the tram like I thought he did...he also said it was a nice day so he took the scenic route and it took him longer than usual to get home.
