I am very bad at taking my meds and will go weeks without. I haven't had any episodes in over 2 years despite this. However, I know I am not doing that well right now due to stressors. I know this about myself, I know I have difficulty handling stress...feel like I could kick my own arse for letting myself get into the situation. All of it unexpected stress and at least 4 different situations causing it that are not completely under my control to fix. (bangs head against the wall)
Well, let me go get the bottles and start back up. wish me luck.

I take mine 3x a day, so I had to experiment with a few of those pill sorters where you can pop out the divided thingie for each day. I now toss them all together into one salad dressing container since I know which ones to fish out at what time of day (although when I'm really struggling and making a lot of mistakes, I do put them in a divided one so I won't screw it up). I have like 20 of these salad dressing containers, and I load them all at once and stack a few on my bathroom counter so I see them in the morning and know to grab one. I have to make it easy for myself or else I'll procrastinate and end up not taking them.
Thanks for this!

I know it's easier said than done but you gotta keep going with the meds. I'm the worst for keeping to a routine. But I have had to force myself. Can you not set reminders on your phone?

that's a great idea! I find myself also doing this...'man I do NOT want to put those pills in my stomach' and I will walk away. I have the divided pill minder, nothing like a little guilt when you look at it and see you haven't taken anything for several days. stubborn much, you think?

Yeah, it helps to have a routine.

When I didn't have a routine, I was forgetting my medication all the time. I would take different pills at random times of the day, and mentally, it was just too hard to keep track of everything.

Now I take all my pills after dinner and before I go to bed. I usually take them around 7pm or 8pm to make sure I don't accidentally fall asleep before I can take them.

It's a pain in the *** to take meds, but what are you gonna do...

I take my meds 3x a day. I keep a little pill divider with me at all times. It's a one day pill divider. In the morning I load it up after I take my morning meds, then the afternoon and evening meds are in the little divider. I hate having to fill my weekly pill divider, but I make a counting game out of it so the routine isn't so bad.

I forget to take Meds too. If I go to work and forgot them, I am in for a rough day.
