And it's dogging me big time! The panic 24/7 type you want to lose your mind over. Anxiety seems to go hand in hand with bipolar and that just ain't fair man lol

Me, too! I've been taking benzos since 2006. No other med compares. Everyone is going to throw rotten tomatoes at me. lol

I have had the same pdoc the whole time. He has me on long-term use. I may go down to 3mg Klonopin in a few months. I'm 1mg four times a day. No PRN. Benzos knocks it out of the park. I'm ok with being dependent.

I'm on klonopin PRN but since I've started gabapentin as a stabilizer, I've been needing it a lot less. Anxiety gets me bad too.

Sigh. Clonazepam always felt so nice. It did a great job. I was never anxious when I was on it.

I remember when I used to have panic attacks -- hated those!

Long-term clonazepam here, too.
Started on it many years ago and doctors have kept me on it.
I don't know if I can ever come all of the way off. I do reduce the dose when not in an episode.

I've been having a lot of anxiety lately and it's been kicking my butt. No benzos for me though; my pdoc won't prescribe them. I'm just trying to ride this out.

Ugh, anxiety is my mortal enemy (next to depression), I literally have been balled up on the floor due to attacks, but my psychiatrist won't prescribe anything for my anxiety, so it is just a matter of riding it out, and my anxiety is usually between a 6 and 10 most days...

I won't throw any tomatoes, because I can totally relate! lol
Klonopin and at times Xanax seems to be all that helps when I start getting symptoms of panic or anxiety....and it helps keep me functional when I'm working or just trying to get through the day. I try to do other things to reduce my anxiety too, but without the benzos, I would imagine I'd be a mess on certain days. I figure it's better to take benzos to keep up with my daily tasks and be well, rather then go without them, lose my job, and be an emotional wreck.

Anxiety is THE WORST. I honestly think I could deal with all other moods if it weren't for anxiety. I could maybe even deal with anxiety in general, but the panic...just can't handle it!

Xanax XR is my friend when going through a bad anxiety spell. You may want to ask about something like that to your pdoc. APs help me a lot, too. Latuda helped me for a long time, and now Abilify is working its magic on my anxiety, too.
