I do full body when I lift those two days. I need to incorporate a short strength routine with my daily. Just like abs and push-ups or something? I used to be a better runner. I'd like to train for another half and see if I could improve my time. I did ok in the one I did but I was undertrained. My goal is to finish one in under 2 hrs. ![]() |

I have been doing daily calisthenics to increase my overall strength. I am hopeful it will help improve my balance and coordination as well. Good luck to everyone.

This thread gave me the final push to start working out again. I start P90 again this morning (the step-down from P90X). I've gained 20lbs over the last 4 years, and it's time for it to come off!

Well, last week I didn't get in two workouts because of muscle soreness from the first one.
Jumped back into it with a workout this morning. Hoping the muscle soreness won't be as bad as last week so I can get another day in this week. Mad at myself for being not working out for so long! |

I managed to get in a small workout last night. Going to do the same tonight if I don't go climbing.

I guess I'll keep this alive. I didn't workout last night, but I just finished with back and core exercises.

The weather here is changing so in taking more of my workouts inside. I love running outside, but now I have to incorporate some treadmill time. Which I've always loathed, but guess what!?! I've figured out how to keep myself entertained and challenged on the treadmill. SPRINT INTERVALS. I love it because i can't get bored and I leave pouring sweat after only 20-30 minutes.
Also I've been upping my reps on deadlifts. I'm doing 100 at seventy pounds right now! So fun! I'm still not able to do a pull up. So embarrassing but I'm working towards it! |
