If we could make a little kit for ourselves and one another which would serve as first response care for episodes, breakdowns, and bad days, what would go in it? I'll start us off with a few of my own ideas:

1. A soft, fuzzy blanket to cuddle up in to feel hugged.
2. A coloring book and pencils for self soothing and getting emotions out safely.
3. A few hot chocolate packets to help sleep and relaxation come sooner.

I have a DBT skills tool box! We made it in DBT group!

I have in it:
Herbal tea bags
Lotion
Good smelling lotion
Something to color
Candy
A few things to hold and rub
Skill reminder cards

Just a few examples!

- Blanket and a teddy bear to hug
- Book to read
- A little bit of money so that I can treat myself
- my work laptop lol

I like to do work when I'm depressed because it keeps my mind off things. I also need to get work done, so it's a win-win situation
