So I had my T appointment today. I still write notes because she makes me nervous and I can barely speak. She went through my note and we talked about each thing. Talking about SI and self harm was embarrassing. She said IP would be best but she wants to run it by my pdoc first. I see him Monday so I guess we'll see then. I'm just so tired of these hallucinations and paranoia and everything else.

From what you've been saying recently it sounds like it might be the best and safest option.

I'm glad you were able to talk to her about everything and I'm glad you have your pdoc soon. I'm glad she is getting what you are telling her. That has to be a relief.

How is your mouth?

Oh I forgot to mention that my T advocated for me, didn't just tell my pdoc what was going on. So better chance for IP.

That's great news! I hope T/Pdoc/IP(if you go) get your meds adjusted so they are really helpful. Hopefully you won't be suffering too much longer. Good job!

Thanks all

I'm just glad I finally got someone to listen and understand me. She said I might have a new diagnosis too. Which she's passing along to my doctor so I don't know lol.

Really fed up with all these symptoms. Hoping for IP because I think I could improve quicker in there.

And if I dont get IP I hope I get a good med change so I can get some relief.

Did she mention possible new diagnosis? I guess Dx really doesn't as long as they can get symptoms under control. I really hope you get what you need from Pdoc!

She mentioned bipolar-schizoaffective, but I'm not sure if that was her thinking out loud or what she thought.

If I do have the schizoaffective can I still post in here? Lol

Yes you can still post here. The sza board is much slower. I was diagnosed sza at one time but that sorta got dropped.

I'm glad you're making progress. You see your Pdoc Monday. I don't see mine until after the new year. I'm kinda anxious to get on my new med (Rexulti) like you are.

For sure, yes, still post here. I just wondered what she was thinking is all. As mentioned above there is another forum for schizo-affective if you want but some can be much slower. Other people will have more experience with that forum. Whatever the diagnosis the priority is for you and your team is to find the treatment, most likely therapy and meds, that best treats your symptoms for you. Hopefully, if you go IP they can expedite finding what works. Hope things go well with Pdoc Monday.

I'm glad you had a productive meeting. I hope your pdoc listens.

When my doctors realised the extent of my psychosis they also suggested schizoaffective, then they later changed their minds cos I was also having mild mood symptoms. Still wonder about that.
