I've starting working with my therapist on how to deal with dissociating and feeling out of my skin. I went today and she had a couple things for me. She gave me a bag of jolly ranchers to suck on for that intense taste and a small aromatherapy candle to hold and smell to relax.

I can never repay her for everything she does for me. It's free bagel week at panera bread and she brought me my favorite bagel. Lol it was my dinner.
She's a very good fit for me-therapy wise.

What an awesome T! So glad you have her. They sound like good ideas to help deal with dissociation too. Really hope you can get that to calm down, I know how awful the experience is. I have the best T too. It makes all the difference.

My T once gave me money for my prescription.

Are these things working then? My T also used aromatherapy. I now use it myself at home as part of my own grounding exercises.

Well I just got them yesterday. I haven't had to ground myself yet. I'm gonna practice some mindfulness with them first.
