Oh man. My life is passing me by.
When I try to do something as simple as frying a potato my shoulders tense up and I get a horrible pain in the middle of my back.
I'm afraid to go for a walk. Smoking less now that I'm on Wellbutrin, but hasn't helped the energy or lack of motivation or general malice.
It's been 6 weeks. Should have seen an improvement by now, right?
My Pdoc died.
Now when I get back to states, I'll have to start all over again. Huge stress to even think about.
I feel like a failure.
All my life I've been thin, fit and active.
Now, I'm a worthless blob.
Bummer.
I'm thinking of asking for vraylar, I've read some good things. Anyone try it?
Thanks for listening!

Hi OS, I'm so sorry you're feeling so down. It seems to me that after 6 weeks you should feel improvement. Could your dose be too low?

I have been struggling with depression too.
No fun!

Our world can get very small when suffering deep depression.

So sorry about your losing your pdoc! and

How long before you can get set up with a new pdoc?
Do you need a pdoc for the Wellbutrin or is that something your GP can handle temporarily for you?

I am a fan of Wellbutrin. As I get older, it works for me, yet less so.
I am currently trying a stimulant along with the Wellbutrin and other meds.

I have not tried Vraylar. I am sure others will comment on this med.

Your description of pain sounds somewhat like fibromyalgia. Do you have fibromyalgia (FMS)?

I understand feeling unfit. I was an avid athlete all through college, etc.
Competitive sports not only kept me fit, yet also helped me to cope with stressors.

Always good to hear from you. Am sorry life isn't treating you better just now though.

Hold on, as something will change.

Thank you guys.
I'll be here for another month and 1/2, then the states to get a new Pdoc and more meds.
My husband was supposed to be here in May. He had to cancel. I'm all alone ,except a few days a week when my worker comes.
Then I can go to the beach and swim. It's still almost impossible to leave. But he helps a lot.
I don't think I've got Fiber, I think it's stress.
I'd have responded sooner but my internet is miserable
It only works in the middle of the night mostly.
I've got my 2 kittys, they help me lots.
You guys are great.
Thanks for the support.
I'm taking vitamins, but it doesn't seem to help.
Trigger: I do think I'd be better off not living, but I'm not bad off enough yet to try anything.

I can't believe that these pdocs can get away with not talking to us.
When I switched last time the new guy had no idea of my history. The ECT. The hospitals.
He said I could split my temazepam. It barely works at 30 mg.
Plus it's way hard to split a capsule.
He got $150 for 3 minutes. That's like a million bucks per hour and waiting room was full.
I think we're being taken advantage of, but they know we need meds.

I'm so sorry to hear you're having a tough time and I'm sorry you lost your old pdoc and are having to deal with this new inefficient one. My thread would read from bed to recliner and back to bed. I understand. I have depression too. I'm on 450 mg of Wellbutrin and I do poorly when I don't use it. I'm also on a stimulant and some other things. I hope things start looking up for you. I'm here if you need to talk. You're not alone.
