Worked hard for good sleep hygiene. I do sometimes take the herb valerian. It's mild. One key is to stop drinking coffee by the afternoon. I listen to guided meditations from YouTube. Michael Sealy is the best. Last night was listening with earphones and feel asleep in the middle of a guided meditation. Hot baths. Daily prayers when in bed with the lights out. Wear ear plugs and eye mask if street light is bothering me. Watch something soothing on YouTube. I don't have television. Journal. Keep temperature comfortable. Also...wake up very early...between 4 and 5 am.

Maybe go to sleep around the same time every day… and get yourself tired before hand like get some exercise so you would want to sleep… Also no caffeine or something that will keep you up…

But honestly idk this is probably no help… didn't even sleep for three hours last night.
Thanks for this!

I keep good sleep hygiene and take 25 mg. of Seroquel. My pdoc wants me to get off the Seroquel, though, so I doubt my sleep will remain very good.

I work hard to maintain good sleep hygiene. I take my meds the same time every night. And I'm in bed when I take them. I no longer take the med specifically for sleep but the other does make me a little drowsy. No electronics once I'm in bed. No cell phone or tablet. I need the background noise from tv, so that stays on (with the sleep timer set) and I just few the other direction. It's just a matter of keeping the routine for me. Oh and no caffeine after 5pm. 7 at the latest, but that's rare.

Edit..plus I finally got a new bed and that made a hell of a difference
