What are they? Weight loss? Diet pills? The terminology is new to me.

If you're looking to lose weight, this works:

Google "BMR Calculator" and in the calculator, enter your GOAL weight (not current weight). It will give you the calories need for your Basic Metabolic Rate. Limit your caloric intake ....don't exceed that daily caloric intake.

Take a multi-vitamin.

Exercise is always healthy but optional for this "diet."

This works for me, but I'm not a doctor. Consult with your doctor before embarking on a diet. I like the flexibility of this plan...BMR goal weight calories. It's not a diet, per se, just a way I thought would work for me. It's best to ask your doctor what is a safe diet for you.

I haven't ever taken diet pills.

Anything that helps you stave off unwanted weight. Appetite suppressants, metabolism boosters, supplements like chromium that helps manage sugar spikes in blood, etc..

I've tried many OTC things. The things that limit my appetite are the Wellbutrin I take for ad and the Ritalin (a stimulant) for energy. I hope you find something that works for you. Best wishes....

I also use this approach.
In addition, I supplement with L-Carnitine which helps the body to burn fat, instead of muscle. All approved by my doctor.

Please see your doctor to safely implement diet plans and/or supplements with meds, etc.

Diet pills put me into mania, then I had psychosis.

So instead I use a free site called myfitnesspal.com to log foods, and try to keep to my calorie restrictions. I just started again and have lost about 3lb so far.

Water...... Large glass 15-20 mins before meals .. you will eat less

Make half your plate veggies

I avoid Carbs .. They make me feel bogged down

I take a Green Tea pill that promotes safe weight loss.
