An adequate support system is essential for survival.

support system

  • n.
A network of personal or professional contacts available to a person or organization for practical or moral support when needed.

The problem is that my current support system and I are failing.
There is nobody to blame.

Fortunately I have some strength, wits and resources left to possibly build a better support system. My faith in people is at the lowest it has ever been. My lack of trust because of real life experience is exacerbated by the paranoia, fear, delusions and lack of sleep caused by my BP.

I have had low periods in my life and I have risen like the Phoenix.
Let's see how this one plays out.

Stay tuned, and thanks for watching.

Now a message from our sponsor...

(I still have a sense of humor. Perhaps that is a good sign)

So sorry to hear that. I have had times where my support system has fallen apart and it was very tough. Over time I have built up a new one, as fragile as it is. I too am working on strengthening my support system. It takes time and energy, something I lack right now, well the energy part. Thankfully, I have great parents but they are getting old and I have to prepare myself for the time they will not be able to support me so much or pass away.

Great that you still have your sense of humour. Hold onto that it will help get you through tough times.

I'm sorry part of your support system is failing. I have no doubt that with your good attitude, sense of humor and communication skills you'll soon rebuild. I wish you the best.

I too hold faith that this lack of support system is a temporary situatoin. LIfe is a costnt ebb and flow. May you get a support system that listens to you, encourages you and most important lets you be you. My support sytem is my sister and my cousins. Nothing against my mother and father. They happen to passed away s ome eyars ago. my man (He's bipolar so I believe he understands me. My girlfriends

In my own case, that was because I had no inherent ability or power to be "supported". Instead, I needed to be shown how to live in order to be empowered by whatever "Higher Power" outside of ourselves makes something as simple as mere breathing even possible in the first place.

Your own mileage may vary, of course, but that was my deal.
