Hey Everyone. My moods can shift very fast.I can shift 3 or 4 x's a day. At other times I can go for weeks or even months w/o a change at all. I'm wondering if anyone has a "trick" on how to deal with it?I tend to just shoot my mouth off before I think.I'm in no way violent-just "mouthy" which can hurt more than a punch.I read anger management books with no luck. Anything anybody has to say would help.

I can shift fast as well. I will suddenly get very overwhelmed, anxious and agitated. Irritable. Then crash into depression, often become somewhat suicidal. Haven't found the real trick to deal with it - other than getting out of the situation when possible. Following to see what others have to add.
Thanks for this!

I've been taking that for along time but it doesn't help me for that.

If I start getting really moody I take a xanax and it calms me right down

Me too although I recently switched to Valium. It really does help.
Thanks for this!
