Today is a tough day....Day number two of going through mania..I guess it's good when I can realize what is going on...doesn't help how I feel.

It hurts to move and sleep isn't refreshing at all.

Just feel so tired.

((((((Jessica)))))))) good to see you, though I'm sorry it's because you feel bad.

I'm pretty inexperienced with mania yet, so I don't have any great words of wisdom, unfortunately. ARGH Would it help to call your pdoc and get your meds upped?

Hope things start going better soon.

Candy

(((Candybear)))) Hi. It is so good to hear from you.

I don't know if calling my Pdoc would help...Unfortunately because Im on BC pills the Lamictal can decrease while I am on the inactive pills. This week I am. It is so frustrating because most of the time I do ok. Today I am just slammed out.

I'm also on lamictal. My gyn wants me to discuss BC pills with my psychiatrist because of my irregular periods and severe menstrual pains (she says that regulating with YAZ is better than using pain killers)... what do you mean by "because Im on BC pills the Lamictal can decrease while I am on the inactive pills"? I want to learn all I can before I even see my doc.

IF HE DOESN'T LISTEN, GET A NEW DOC! SEARCH AROUND! ASK OTHER PEOPLE. I'VE BEEN BATTLING BIPOLAR MOST OF MY LIFE BUT STARTED GETTING MISDIAGNOSED 81/2 YEARS AGO AND MIS MEDICATED. I FINALLY GOT DIAGNOSED OVER 4 YEARS AGO. BUT DIDN'T GET THE RIGHT MEDS UNTIL I FOUND THE RIGHT PDOC IN JUNE OF THIS YEAR AND IT HAS MADE ALL THE DIFFERENCE IN THE WORLD, IF I HAVING A SIDE EFFECT TO A MEDICATION, HE CALLS ME BACK WITHIN 4-6 HOURS AND RESOLVES THE PROBLEM OR SEES ME IN OFFICE THAT DAY. IF YOU ARE STILL EXPERIENCING MANIA CALL THE CRISIS CENTER OR GO TO THE NEAREST ER. YOU SHOULD NOT BE GOING THRU THIS! THERE ARE WAYS OF GETTING YOU OUT OF THIS STATE! HOPEFULLY U WILL LISTEN TO MY ADVICE. I AM AN R.N. THAT HAS WORKED IN PSYCH. HOPE YOU ARE FEELING BETTER SOON! LOVE CYANIDE SUN
