Let's talk about sex, baby. Not you and me, but you and whomever.
What meds have caused the most problems and/or advantages for you? This applies to both male and female. I'll start. Most limp: Most ADs. There were very few that didn't affect my sex life in a negative way. This was either limp as a dead worm, or absolutely unable to achieve orgasm if I could get it up. Best: Wellbutrin Adderall Focalin IMHO, Wellbutrin should be marketed not only for depression and smoking cessation, but also as a sex aid. That shlt is like rocket fuel for erection and orgasm. Zowie. Too bad it makes me mixed/manic, or I'd be on it just for that reason. Boom! What about you? Best? Worst? Experience is the best teacher, and I don't think sexual side effects are talked about enough when docs are prescribing.

Seroquel was by far the worst for killing libido and the ability to orgasam. Wellbutrin is a god send.

Wellbutrin was the best and Zoloft the worst

Guinness, I forgot about Seroquel. I agree on the orgasm. If I pop a tiny dose of that I can deliver like a porn star forever but never really finish the job. From my side, anyway.
Lefty, Benadryl? I've never drawn a correlation, mainly because if I take it I'm just trying to get to sleep. Might be worth some experimentation, though.

The best aphrodisiac available over-the-counter is mania. Exercise caution.

I've often travelled this route to orgasmic bliss. Granted the rest of the world came crashing down around me, but the sex was good.

I heard wellbutrin called the happy, horny, skinny pill once. I definitely agree with that lol. Though I should probably stop losing weight and I dont think I could possibly get any happier plus feeling like I can't go even a minute without an orgasm when the urge hits can be a bit difficult but still enjoyable. Bathroom breaks a lot, good thing it happens fast lol
I hate seroquel, it was like all the opposite. Sad, tired, fat, dont touch me pill |

I just started a small dose of a new AD called Trintellix. Praise the gods! It's wonderful being able to have orgasms again! When I was on Lexapro I had to copulate myself raw & still had no release; no fun for the GF, either.

Haven't noticed much effect from any med I've been on except Latuda. I can have an orgasm, but it's, let's say, nothing to right home about.
I noticed when I was unstable earlier this year (obviously meds where not sufficient), that this was not the case. Suck it, Latuda. Guess that was the only good thing about this disaster of a year. |

Went from asexual to hyposexual on Effexor. Not a giant leap!

My husband and I haven't had sex in nearly two years. We cuddle and hug but have no desires sexually (he takes prozac and it renders him incapable of orgasm). You think pharmaceutical companies would create ADs that are neutral in their sexual side effects. |

I'm amazed at the diverse set of experiences on this thread! There's viagara (for men at least) but being erect isn't the real problem for most guys. Maybe the drug companies could work on an orgasmic drug that counteracts the effects of psych meds. Chances are, it would be a big seller across the board, though.
