Hello. Welcome to PC. I am sorry about your accident. The good thing is that you're ok. It so often doesn't turn out well.

You know that old crap about the guy with the crappy shoes meeting the barefoot guy?

I haven’t had legs since 2006. I can’t walk or catch the bus. I’m only 5+ years out of an institution, finally buried the dead and I’m actually wheeling my chair outside to talk to people.

I never wrecked any vehicle. I received a speeding ticket at age 16 and that sorta covers my brushes with law enforcement.

Last night I AMA’ed my way out of hospital. My dicky heart crashes and I end up face-down on the floor looking like Frazier after Ali. Fell again entering cab. $40 to get home (bounced another ATM withdrawal).

Not tryin’ to minimize your concerns - flippin’ a truck? Flippin’ flip me out, that would.

No pity for me, friend; I’m right oaky-okay just now, gunslinger. But take a mo, hit that roll-up, and think about walkin’ and bussin’ sans legs. Think about bustin’ yer MIGHTY SWORD and your SCROTOM when ya hit the floor. Effing hurts. Guessin’ that it may hurt more than walkin’. Or bussin’.

Blah, blah, blah; sorry for your traumatic inconvenience.

Always yer friend, I remain &etc.,

Elder. Super-poster.

How do I change my mood? I’m no longer helpless - or hopeless - whatever.

Thanks - yes, off-topic, no damaged vehicles here.

Welcome to psych central.

Just curious. How did you manage to wreck 2 cars in 6 months? Then come to a mental health forum. Interesting progression. Are you driving in an altered mental state? Or driving under the influence?

I've been in several wrecks that I shouldn't have survived the last being a motorcycle wreck on the interstate. I don't know exactly what happened other than I hit the guardrail at 70 mph. 20 minutes before and it would have been at 90mph. I know I was manic when I was riding.
I stopped an airborne Buick with an S10 a while back. There was nothing left of the driver's side all the way back to the bed, but I managed to get out of the passenger side with the thing leaking fuel and anything else it could. I spit glad for three weeks or more.
I'm telling you that to tell you this:
Crap like this happens. We can't plan it and shouldn't try to plan for it. Be grateful you are not forever mangled in that truck, my friend. You are alive to be upset, and rightfully so. I grateful you're here to complain about it
