I’ve was on gabapentin - 1600-3200mg daily - for diabetic neuropathy until... today. Never felt a thing. Didn’t help with the neuropathy, either. I started Lyrica this morning.

Any proof of gabapentin as a mood stabilizer? The efficacy of it seems anecdotal. I was given it in hospital in 2000 (?) but it caused giant welts to form on my back and knees.

I have dozens of bottles remaining - time to flush ‘em.

It does help with my depression. I also take Trintillex with it, however, Trintillex alone doesn't work. Seroquel XR works for me for both holding depression off and holding back mixed mania that I get. I haven't gained any weight so far. I take 800mg at night. I know meds react differently with everyone so this is just my experience with it. It works for me.

Not a druggy, but that just seems like a waste
