It eased up when I took a high dose of Seroquel for a manic episode. I continued on that dose for some time and I do attribute the lessening of the agoraphobia to it. When I later went down to a lower dose, my agoraphobia didn't come back, though I still had considerable anxiety. When my klonopin dose went from .5 to 1 mg, that helped, though not entirely --but (again) the agoraphobia didn't come back. Now I feel paralyzed when I get very anxious, not able to get up (i.e. from computer) and do anything. I regret not having gone to therapy for this. I still should...

I know high doses of Seroquel are not 'supposed' to help with anxiety, but in my case it truly did. Then again, maybe it just knocked me out so much that I couldn't be that anxious anymore.

Sweep the streets I used to own
I used to roll the dice
Feel the fear in my enemy's eyes
Listen as the crowd would sing
Now the old king is dead! Long live the king!
One minute I held the key
Next the walls were closed on me
And I discovered that my castles stand
Upon pillars of salt and pillars of sand
