Would you rather have a lot of friends but are fake friends or no friends at all?

Hmmm, I would go with fake friends as long as I didn't know they where fake.

Would you rather have a good present time, or a good past.

Good present time. If I had one wish it would be to constantly be mindful.
Would you rather have dogs or cats?

At some level, all pain is mental. There are Yogis and monks that can endure things that most of us would find excruciating just by blocking it out. While I can't do that, I can become somewhat habituated to physical pain. The really hard part with your question is there is no way to do apples to apples to say this physical pain is about the same as this mental pain - which could you more easily endure?

When I'm in physical pain it really effects my mental health. I think I could endure mental pain better.

I have a shyt load of AP's for mental instability but nothing to take away my physical pain. So at least there is something to take to reduce mental pain but nothing for the other.

I’d take physical pain over mental pain any day. I do have a pretty high tolerance for pain but I can handle it so much better than mental pain.

I’d rather be in mental pain. I deal with both in the form of neuropathy and bipolar. If I could wish one away, it would be the neuropathy.

I hate them both, but I think i'd rather physical pain

if I didn't have mental paiin, so many things would be diffrent- and so many changes would happen in my life.

physical pain not so much, and though it can be really bad (I hate especially stomach pain), it's something I think I could cope with more than say the rollercoaster of emotions that is bipolar

Trigger -

For all the psychic anguish I endure, I'm in pretty good physical shape. I perhaps can only compare dreadful physical suffering to that of my father's, as he lay in sleepless extremis, moaning from the pain of a cancer that even powerful narcotics could not relieve.

I've hurt to no end emotionally and deeply, but never so badly that I could not take something to draw me into to painless sleep.

I'll trade my current suffering until the inevitable rolls around.
