I shower daily but only wash my hair twice a week unless I’m working and get a sweaty mess.

Washing hair daily isn’t healthy for your hair. My daughter gets oily hair but she has purple colored hair and just uses dry shampoo as if she did her color will wash out to fast.

I have thick, curly hair naturally (and currently long) but I straighten it all of the time to make it smooth. My hair takes a long time to do, so I just use a shower cap and wash it about every 3 days. My hair is more on the dry side rather than the oily side. I hate doing my hair. It's such a pain. I wish it were thinner and straighter, so that it would be easier to deal with. I really do need a haircut, but I'm lazy.

Every second day.

My hair is dry and never looks dirty or oily, but I'm a sweaty person. My scalp starts to stink if I don't wash it, and my hair often.

I only wash my hair every week and a half. Gets too dry otherwise. I use conditioner too but still it gets dry. Of course if I get all sweaty then I wash the hair too. I'm nearly 60 and my hair needs less washing as I age.

Every day if I don't it gets really oily and greasy. I struggle when I'm depressed to do this but it has to be done. I don't style my hair I know I should but I rarely have the energy to blow dry and straighten my hair. I usually throw my gairvuo into a bun when it's stoll wet bad I know but I really don't care lol!

I feel the same about showering or washing my hair or anything else I feel I should be doing. Guilt! Shame! It's really hard for me to shower or wash my hair. This morning as I'm typing I know I need to get in the shower and wash my hair but it seems so overwhelming most of the time.

These things I use to do everyday with no problem. What's happened to me??? I'm learning to live with my limitations and not hate myself for doing the things I just can't seem to do for the day.

I shower about twice a week and wash hair about once a week. I actually looked this up on line about showering and I think it said showering everyday is not necessary unless you get dirty and sweaty. It actually is not good for your skin.

I totally get the guilt thing.
