At what age do you think docs should be testing an diagnosing bipolar disorder?? My daughter is 13 and when i look back she is a spitting imagee of me, mood swings rage and all. Do you think it is hormones combined with just being a teen or possible bipolar disorder? I love her to death but it is always like talking/arguing with myself. Just interested in opinions, thanks, jen

It could possibly be bipolar disorder. I know someone who has a 13 year old daughter and has been diagnosed with bipolar, and is really unpredictable since her moods fluctuate a lot and can change within hours.

If you have bipolar, then I think it'd be only beneficial to find out if your daughter has it too. I wish my parents had tested me! ;-D
