If you're feeling very down or anxious, do you watch or listen to anything unusual? I like to listen to old interviews of Marilyn Monroe, because of how much she went through. It somehow calms me to listen to them on Youtube.
What about you?

I haven't watched it for a while, but I used to really enjoy watching the show "Cops". I know that may seem strange, but it actually relaxed me. I am not sure why. I used to also daydream a lot about cops, which I considered somewhat pleasurable daydreams. I once told my psychiatrist that and he asked me why I like them, and I humorously told him that I liked the idea of "bondage". That was actually just a joke. I think most cops (with some rare exceptions) are really heroic people. I have encountered cops on two occasions when manic or manic with mixed features, and they were really nice.

Listen to music with either no lyrics, or lyrics in another language (salsa, etc.). I don't like to be bombarded with the thoughts of others. That, or sitting alone in a dark room in silence. I can sit for hours.
Thanks for this!

I watch a lot of vet shows. Not sure why but it helps seeing animals being saved, if possible.

I recently came across this programme hosted by a scottish comedian

over 4 weeks, she tries stuff to try and help her relax (suggested to her by her friends)

the results are usually just...... lol. bad

last week she tried camping out at a music festival, and by the end of it she hated everything about it. even her producer.
Thanks for this!

I listen to these youtube videos where it's like "6 hours of relaxing sleep music" or whatever and try to meditate and breathe.

Or I try to distract myself usually by watching the office, parks and rec, or friends or anything that's real light and comedic.

Also I like to watch youtube vlogs of healthy happy people which is kind of weird I guess.
