We leave town on thursday for 2 weeks, so I will not be posting.
We travel to indiana twice a year. We travel there once in the summer time, jeff has off all summer, then once at christmas time.Both families live in IN. It takes us 2 days to drive the 1000 miles stopping in Memphis for the night. We will enjoy a great BBQ dinner and listen to some blues and have a drink or 2. I am not going to drink too much. I am just not! I can control my drinking!!!!I am not going to blow my diet either just because I am on vacation. Am bringing 2 cases of zevia soda, ginger root beer and cream soda which are my favorite flavors. Not sure I could get them easily in INDY....I know they carry ginger beer but that is really high calorie. I took a bottle of mag citrate because I have not been to the bathroom in days. Hope it works before I go to bed at midnight. It is stormy out, tiny bit of rain. Glad that jeff watered both the front and back yard. Our new grass will just have to fend for itself while we are gone. We have a pet sitter come to watch the cats and I asked her to water the out door plants she agreed. We will pay her more of course. She is coming every other day and gets the mail too... While I was at my last clients home, I had a hot flash that lasted for ever. God I hope this is not going to happen regularly. I will see if this is my new reality tonight at 230am when I have been waking up with a hot flash where I get up and stand in front of the fan. I am not going thru menopause gracefully. sigh We lost my mom's sister Barbara in january suddenly. It was a shock to all of us. She requested to be cremated and then have her ashes put into lake michigan to be with her daughter who died of MS years ago. This saturday, Mom and dad are chartering a boat to take them out 3 miles out into the lake. I don't know where they found these rules, seems silly to have to go that far out to sea. Afterward, there is a luncheon at 2 pm at a cheeseburger place in Michigan that we all like. They have a private room so we can all be together. This Saturday we are driving straight to the restaurant to meet the rest of the family, sisters, cousins with their families and nieces. So it will be a family get together to honor Barb. The next day is fathers day so We will stay a couple more days in South Bend to visit and be with my folks. Mom is really taking it hard. Barb was her best friend...the only real friend she had. Then back to his moms house for the duration of our trip. WE will see/visit with jeffs only brother Brian. WE will help out jeffs mom who is on a walker and frail. The only other event we have planned is a James Taylor concert with Bonnie Raitt on the 26th, the day before we leave. I have never heard her sing in a concert. Should be great!!!! Love james taylor!!!! It will be busy and I have to stay stable. I usually end up a bit hypomanic before we leave. But instead am procrastinating packing. I need to redo my pill boxes to take out the detox pills because we think that is the reason for my constipation. That is the only thing that has changed. So I am going to stop taking them. One more full day of work and I see my psych doctor in the morning, hoping to weigh less than when I was there last. If I get cleared out surly I will weigh less. She will be happy that I have been Alcohol free for 31 days. I am anxious to see what I weighed in her office 3 months ago. We shall see. Have a great 2 weeks!!!! bizi

Thank you for the welcome back!
WE came back to some plants thriving and others are wilted and dying. My cousin gave me parts of an old family cactus Prickly pear. I am going to have to find a place to put it in full sun....I will ignore this plant in the front yard. We will see if it grows. I have shade plants on the back patio that are easy to water and pay attention to. I don't have a green thumb. The concert was great! We went to dinner ahead of time. Sat at a table for 8 including a 2nd cousin who I had not seen in years! Spent time with both sides of the family. It was good to see everyone, But am glad to be home. 2 weeks is a long time to be gone. And I only have a pill box for 2 weeks! I had to get some of my meds filled early due to them running out while I was gone. Wonder how people deal with meds when they go away for months? bizi

it is only 76 degrees this morning but 100% humidity. Hubby has been walking in the mornings, very proud of him. He comes in soaked from his walk.
High today is only 93. Better than 95 and 97! bizi __

I took a shower tonight instead of in the morning because I have to get up earlier for the next 2 weeks. My feet hurt in the shower from standing on those quarter size suction bumps....
So, I asked jeff to rub my feet and he did. It felt so good. I think I have arthritis in my feet too. I am (my feet) very stiff in the mornings when I first get out of bed. I am thinking that I need new shoes, maybe that was why my feet were aching tonight. He used aveda foot cream with peppermint. I thanked him several times. And reminded him that he used to rub my feet all the time when we were first dating. After we got married that all stopped.  I used stress fix cream on my hands and fingers. Had some hang nails that needed attention, must keep some lotion on them or I will pick at them if they get dried and rough. I have 4 fingers that have hang nails that I have picked at. sigh watched 2 episodes of jerry seinfeld. It was so funny, we laughed together. AM gettting ready for bed. I let my hair dry naturally when I wash it at night. Will fix it in the morning. It never looks as good but styling it before bed seems like a waste of time and energy.... bizi

It is official,
I am depressed. I have not been taking care of myself. Wednesday, For lunch we went to burger king and I had a delicious Whopper that I had not had in 10 years. I drank too much at the fourth of july festivities, ate fair food, fake cheese chili hot dog,They must have been mild drinks because I did not get buzzed from the drinks/ jello shots so i kept drinking them. I have developed a high alcohol tolerance. I need to quit drinking. I have not taken my vitamins for 2 days. Got up today and did not wash my face was running late. My girl friend canceled lunch...have not seen her in ages...I miss her. none of my lunch bunch freinds want to do lunch with me. I hope there is somebody at sandras who I can eat lunch with. I need to get some more friends. Today I came home from work early and washed my face filled up my supplies, filled up my pill box with my vitamins and put them into my pocket. Spoke with jeff, he gave me a smooch. I am not motivated to plan our trip. Last night I met with a friend who is moving away.  We had dinner together to talk about prague she just came back and gave me a map to have and a book to borrow. IT was difficult to look at the map. I am overwhelmed. Maybe planning/ buying this trip was impulsive like a manic thing?????WE paid for it out of our line of credit. so we are financing it. So we are in debt, I also put my car repairs on the line of credit. So far we are in debt$20k. REpairs on the house and the bed. We also have 2 car payments. I don't like having debt. It started off last year when we spent $4-5k on a new bed. Buyers remorse. We have that financed over 2 years. a $250 a month. I don't know. I just know that I feel down. Need to go sandras for lunch right now, hoping someone will be there to talk to. I need to get a life.... my addictions are getting to me. I have not lost any weight though I have not been trying. Jeff and I are starting the military diet on monday. sigh bizi

I forgot to tell you that I ate at mcdonalds yesterday and had a big mac and fries and a diet coke.
 all of which I don't eat....fast food 2 days in a row. Had not had a big mac in 35 years!@!!!! Today I Ate lunch alone. at least I ate a healthy lunch: salmon, collard greens, fruit salad and avocado salad and a tasty muffin. sigh bizi
