There is a phrase that some people use that really bugs the hell out of me.
"Well everyone, struggles with that" I hate when people say that. It devalues me, and I don't like that.
I've had mental health issues since I was really young & I still can't seem to find help. I am ignored, I feel invisible out in the world except by the creepy people the ones who take drugs or who are shady & in no way do I want to associate with people like that.
I don't trust people easily and I sure don't want someone who is unstable.
I can't stand this world at all.
I don't know where I fit in, I don't fit in.
I don't really know what its like to be treated in a nice, dignified manner because I've never known what its like to be treated that way.
All I know of people is that they're callous, cold, cruel.
I've been treated bad every day of my life it seems. My life is pretty stressful & it's taken a toll on how I look physically.
I don't like this site.
Life really sucks right now.
But at least I speak up for myself. Because I sure do get a whole lot of disrespect.
For those of you who get lots of love & support I envy you.
Cause I sure am running on fumes just about now.

I hate when people compare others by saying "everyone struggles with that." It's them insultingly brushing off your problems, which is an awful thing to do. It's neither supportive nor helpful. If someone is struggling and admits to it, it's them reaching out for help, for support. Why reject it or make it seem unimportant? What do you or others gain by doing that? Disgusting behavior imo.

A lot of people just don't "get it," and I'm sorry you have to go through this. It's very unfair, and, as I said before, insulting.

I'm happy you speak up for yourself. You're doing a great job. I'm sure someone, somewhere out there cares about you. I care about you.

I don't get support either, except from my therapist.

Comparing people to others ...
I find it very insulting too when people (especially doctors or so called “family”) brush real issues off, lie, trivialise etc. They have no clue..

I'm very sorry you've had such a hard life. Sorry for all of it! It's not fair and it's not right. I relate to you. I did have tremendous support from my mom but she died when I was 34. My dad died when I was 4. Never knew him really. My mom then went on, after my dad died, to attempt suicide like 7 times.

My life has been hard too. You can pm me anytime you want to vent.

Are you in services? See a therapist or pdoc? I have much compassion for you.
