I'm feeling a little down.

I've been so agitated recently that the agitation is starting to wear me out.

I used to want to do a billion things and I had a billion ideas, and now... I just want to sleep. I was already agitated before and I'm still just as agitated, but now I feel hopeless because it won't go away. I wanted to do a billion things until I became so agitated that I didn't want to do them. I had a billion ideas until I became so agitated that I didn't like them.

Sleeping is my only escape from the agitation. I'm pretty sure my Lamictal has failed me. It's the only thing that's ever worked for me agitation wise, besides Seroquel. I don't want to go on any other mood stabilizer because of their known side effects, and I HATE seroquel, the only antipsychotic that's helped with my agitation. I have the worst side effects from Seroquel.

I am sorry you are feeling so agitated.

I have recently read where sometimes lamictal is increased to 600mg. Would you be interested in running this by your pdoc?

I hope this morning's donuts are done messing with you.
Have you been eating regular meals lately? Low blood sugar can be an issue sometimes. It may not cause your agitation, yet may add to it?

I could ask about the lamictal, but my pdoc appt isn't until Oct 18th.

I didn't know my pdoc had a nurse, but I think the lamictal thing has to be done at an appointment where we can sit down and talk about it.

I've been eating regular meals, yeah. I haven't had my blood sugar checked in a long time, but every time it's been checked, it's been within the normal range. It's neither on the low end nor the high end of the normal range, but somewhere in between.

Did you try both types of Seroquel, the normal release and the extended? I was super tired on the extended release but do much better on the regular release. I have seen others posting opposite results to mine. So if one version has too many side effects but helps, it is possible the other version might work better for you.

The XR gave me severe depression and suicidal thoughts. The minute I went off it, my mood went back to normal.

I don't have anymore Seroquel instant release. I'd have to ask for some, but it made me so sedated that I was sleeping 14-16 hours a night on that. Plus, I'd probably end up with suicidal thoughts if the dose got high enough. I wasn't even on that high of a dose of Seroquel XR to begin with. At 250mg, it was subtherapuetic, but it gave me severe depression.

Thanks for your suggestions, though

Hope you find a way forward that lets you feel better, but without the billion things racing in your head; just keep a few winners for when you have the right amount of energy! So easy to write, so hard to do, but you have my sympathy.

I know how you feel agitation is horrible for me too.

Can you clear things off your desk mentally ??? I often have to just shut down and keep to myself a lot and lean on close friends.

I hope things settle for you soon

The only thing I do is self harm. I'm alone all the time already since I'm not dating anyone and don't have any roommates in my apartment.

I don't think it helped that my ex bf tried to contact me a bunch of times. I don't know why he's been doing it since we haven't talked in 3+ years, but that only adds to the irritation!

When you write you are alone all the time, do you feel lonely? Or do you enjoy your alone time?

I think you are a very intelligent, interesting and a compassionate person. I'd think lots of people would want to be your friend and spend time with you.

How are you doing today?
Thinking of you.
