Right now, no. No major side effects. I do take Synthroid to handle the hypothyroidism I developed while on Lithium, but the hypothyroidism is permanent. I have been off Lithium for about four years now. Lithium also caused me mild kidney damage. The only thing I do for that is to drink plenty of water.

Do you like the sound of rain? What sounds (other than music) do you particularly like?

As it hardly rains where I live, I LOVE the sound of rain. I also LOVE the sound of thunder and the ocean. I am a nature girl so almost any sound is nature is wonderful.

Do you have a favourite TV show? One that you can watch all episodes over and over again?

Its intense, I put it before everything else when I am in that phase. I enjoy it and it hasnt caused me any troubles as I dont go outside of my relationship. Its either with him or just myself as the number of times a day can be very high!

Question: Do you have anything you have achieved that you thought would not be possible due to your health(mental or physical)

Living (somewhat) on my own. (I have a room in a house, so there are other people, but I'm responsible for myself.)

Do you have anxiety going to shops?

Miss Laura, you were a bit quicker than me. We answered simultaneously. As for volunteering, most of mine were very short-lived. I volunteered stacking books at my library, helped at a hospital with various clerical tasks, fundraised for a NAMI walks event, did NAMI Help Line briefly, was a board member at my local DBSA, was a group leader for an online bipolar support group (not this one). I'm currently not volunteering, but would like to again.

What's your favorite breakfast of all time?
Thanks for this!
Miss Laura

All expenses paid? Go to England and France, complete my genealogical research, learn my ancestors stories and see the places where they walked.

If you could meet anyone from history (ancient or modern), who would it be?

I haven't played in ages, but I know a few chords on the guitar.

Who is your favorite author and what work by them do you like best?

Walt Whitman's "Leaves of Grass"

What is your favorite song or musical work? Who wrote it?

it's so hard to pick a favorite, because I love music.

classical wise, I really like samuel barber's adagio for strings (I want it played at my funeral)

but away from classical, how could I possibly choose?

anything by michael jackson or demmi lovato would certainly be top of my list, anything from the musicals cats, grease or hairspray, the lion king, I love the end music to nanny mcphee.. just way way too many to choose.

is their a movie that everyone you know has seen and is talking about loads, but you've never heard of it?

Can’t think of any. There’s movies I’ve heard about that had good reviews and haven’t seen yet. I tend to watch stuff on Netflix more.

Q. Can you choose one word to describe yourself?

Same question: Can you choose one word to describe yourself?

Yes. I have one older brother and one older sister. They are 5.5 and 6.5 years older than me, respectively. When I was a kid, the age difference was more significant than it has been since I've been an adult. I guess when I was about 24 my brother started treating me like an adult. Before that, I was a kid to him. My sister mostly ignored me back then. Now we're all middle-aged.

I love and trust both of my siblings. We have some differences in personality and views, but that's OK. We don't chat/talk as often as some siblings, but we would be there for each other in a flash, if needed. I've been happy that my sister and I are growing closer lately, though mostly by email. My brother visits me face to face the most.

Who in your life have you revealed yourself most to?

i'd say my friend laura when I knew her

she's seen me mannic. she's seen me depressed. she's seen me suicidal, she's helped me with flashbacks, knows about my delusions, seen me cut... sadly I don't know her now (diffrence in religious beliefs)

is their someone (or lots of people) who you miss?. how do you deal with it when you have thoughts of them
