I'm so sorry, HALLIEBETH87. If your Pdoc says that you need to take more Haldol then maybe that's the right solution. I'd try it and see how it goes from there. If it doesn't work out you can always change meds. Wish you good luck! Let us know how it goes. Sending many hugs to you

spray yourself with insect stuff.

I know that might seem a random reply, but at least you know that if their were real bugs in the house they wern't atracted to you- and to be fair, maybe it would take your mind off bugs because you knew you had the protective spray

I was going to suggest an antihistamine (something like Claritin) for the same reason. I'll take one before bed sometimes and it serves double duty. If there is an external reason I'm so itchy, it will tamp it down until I can address it in the morning. Otherwise, it helps distract from the thought by ensuring any "bites" don't itch.

When does this occur? Day and night?

I am asking because sometimes people itch from dust mites.
This can happen in bed, while on upholstered furniture, in dusty settings, from carpeting, etc.

You have reported this sensation before. Has increasing Haldol been helpful in the past?

I hope you get relief soon.

Yes I’ve felt it before and haldol helps. After a few days it usually makes it go away. It can happen anywhere I’m at.

If the itching was caused by a reaction to dust mites, I don't think increased Haldol would help. Such a reaction can sometimes be helped by an antihistamine, as suggested above.

If Haldol does help, then it seems like your pdoc knows you well and knows what to do to give you relief?

I hope you do experience relief asap.

I wish I could help but I dont know... you are already on a ton of medication. Id listen to your doctor but I... I dont want you to take too much or something!

They would probably know more than me. Also you said that more haldol generally helps so Id hate to to point you away from something that gives you relief! So Ill just **** up and say... hallucinations suck! I hope that yours get better soon.

It’s my fault. I stopped taking my noontime dose of haldol months ago.
