You are in a difficult situation, Blue, and I hope you get the treatment you deserve. Perhaps talk it over with your therapist if you trust them? I agree it was an inappropriate comment by your psychiatrist. Don't forget it is also not great for our brains to have uncontrolled mental illness in the long run, though, whether we control it through medication or other means. I think my depression/anxiety has affected my cognition and memory and this is without meds in the picture.

I’m doing ok, minus the fact the local police (Massachusetts) pulled me over for speeding this morning on my way to work. Now I have to drive sloooooow.
![]() This blows. 2nd time being pulled over. First time was 57mph in a 30, but that was a while back and had to go to court for that and beg the judge not to suspend my license. This time it was somewhere between 38 and 43mph (depending on where the cop was hiding). At least I got a warning and not a ticket... so it was probably 38. He never told me the exact speed, though. But I’m surprised he let me go considering I had gone to court previously. Now I’m really, really anxious about driving home. I’m feeling paranoid about everything now. I’ll keep you guys updated on how my therapy appt goes tomorrow. I’ll see what she says about APs, brain damage, and diagnoses. |
