50 days Alcohol free!
stuck on 180....10 pound weight loss in 7 weeks.
Food today: coffee with half and half and stevia.
Quick 20 minute Lunch: 8oz of chicken salad with apples and walnuts.
Late 8pm Dinner: 1/2 cup of cottage cheese and a low carb chocolate slim fast, bottle.
I have chewed gum and drank zevia, colas sweetened with stevia,
cream soda and ginger root beer.
Now I am not hungry so that is good.
I hope that I will have more time for lunch....I missed my veggies today!
Worked late for me, saw 6 clients when I usually see 4. Out of the house at 8: 45am and home 7:45pm. Long time since I worked an 11 hour day!
I have one other client to squeeze into my schedule which is full before the holidays.
Got my nails (clear gel) done yesterday, had them done right before lunch, takes about an hour. Tipped her, she was very happy! I tipped the yard guy whom has taken such good care of our yard, for years!
Some how I need to get to the bank and get some cash. There are 3 people that I want to give christmas cards with cash at Sandras cafe that I eat there a lot, most days.
I will give cards to 2 cooks Sammie and Chrystal who have been there the longest(high turn over of the other staff) and then the store manager Alaina who is very pregnant and due on christmas day! It has been fun sharing pictures of my new great niece who was born on oct 21st. Her name is Emmerson Lou....they are calling her Emmy Lou.
Which is so sweet.
Life is good!
Hugs to those who need them!

I had a pork loin with collards and turnips and beets for lunch.
Jeff is gone so I went and picked up 2 chicken quarters
(that was 2 thighs and 2 legs) for dinner and a pint of low carb(high fat and calories600 for the pint) only 4 net carbs. and oh so good and creamy and satisfying!Sweetened with sugar alcohols.

I worked late again but only saw 5 clients.
One man declined services as he had just been to the foot doctor.
That was fine by me because that would have put me really late.

I hate coming home in the dark.
I need to do some paper work that is on my desk.
have a nice evening and thank you for your support!

Lunch:
2 Bacon wrapped chicken thighs....
there was some goat cheese in there too.
Swiss chard, beets and a side of avocado mashed.
2 diet stevia mountain dew sodas
very good!
Dinner:
4 pieces of sushi...no rice just veggies and shrimp.
6 oz of chicken salad that was delicious.
2 small squares of dark chocolate.

After working a late day I really thought about having a beer at whole foods where I was meeting up with hubby and friends they had just finished playing trivia. But I decided against that thinking I will hold out until we are on vacation. 53 days Alcohol free.

I am frustrated with my weight loss stall. Somehow I just thought the weight was going to fall off me when I decided to not drink those empty calories. or rather fattening drinks!!!!! But it has not happened that way. The first 5 pounds were easy....anyway.
11 pounds gone in 53 days.

Well I survived another party alcohol free. Bizi's new 2019 thread
I spoke to people and did not have social anxiety.
He has a huge pool table in his living room, play a bit and was terrible!
Only had an awkward moment when a woman came
up to me and noticed I was drinking tea.
She made mention of it..."tea" she said and
muttered something else, I walked away. weird.
At 1145pm almost 5 hours later. I said to hubby that I wanted to leave.
He agreed.
I was tired of all of the people getting drunk.
The chili was good with some sour cream.
Had a really great salad, lots of different veggies and a few apple chunks.
Just really small portions of carbs:tiny home made sour dough bread.
2 pita chips and a very small edge of lemon bar.
Regular smokehouse and wasabi almonds.
I drank tea the rest of the evening.
They drank margaritas!!
To be honest I am a little snacky
but it is so late I should not eat anything.

Good job, bizi!!

Any muttering about tea is 100% her issue. Only a seriously dysfunctional person derides non-alcoholic beverages, in my book. Misery loves company, and if you're not playing their way, they just can't let it be. Yeah, it does upset me when someone does that. (All my life I've had a very f-u attitude toward peer pressure.) Ok, I'm going off into a rant now, lol.

Chili, mmmmmmm!!

Have a great day, bizi!

Good for you @bizi. As far as weight loss, there are plateaus now and then, but 11 lb. in 53 days is pretty good. Good for you!

We leave saturday morning.
Hattie is being boarded at the vets(She has to have daily dressing changes) and hazel will be at the house having a pet sitter make visits every other day.
I saw five clients today. First new one was 99 years old living alone in her home and even drove a bit. She was so sweet, she has amazing hair for her age, curls and thickness. very unusual.....I will see her again in 3 months.
Another 95 year old who makes me laugh. She is in good health and I see her every 2 months. I had lunch with my friend Melissa. I gave her a gift card to a nice restaurant. I think she was surprised. We finished decorating the house....Have 2 trees up, a small one on the dining room table then a bigger one in the living room. The small one has all of the smaller ornaments and bulbs. Enjoy looking at it there. The bigger tree is decorated with the bigger bulbs. Both are prelit which makes it nice and easy. They will stay up until mardi gras. I won't be posting much while we are away.
Leave saturday spend the night in Memphis, eat some good bbq and listen to music. Sunday get into Indianapolis to stay with Jeffs Mom. His only brother Brian, just bought a house 5 minutes from her so that is wonderful!
Am excited to see what he has done. There will probably be snow still there..it is in the forecast. We will have a christmas eve supper and presents with his mom, brother and our 2 friends Dan and Maggie.
Christmas day we drive up to northern Indiana, One mile from the michigan border, out side of south bend. We will stay at my parents house for 3 days. My 2 sisters and hubbys and adult children will be there as well.
I am missing as I write my twin sisters first grand baby...she is 2 months old tomorrow and was in Indy for a week. Timing wasn't right so we missed seeing them....sad about that. They have been sending pictures so that is fun. Truth is I don't know when we will get to see them....sad about that.
My great nieces name is Emmerson Lou. They are calling her Emmy Lou.
She was born Oct 21st the day I started my diet.

Jeff just said there were tornadoes that did some damage in the northern part of the state. We have had rain and it is warmer than usual. The storm brings in a cold front, high tomorrow of 49.It is 76 right now.

Saw my chiropractor tonight after work and he adjusted me which doesn't feel good but it eventually does. He is treating my sprained ankle. Am not a good patient....not doing my exercises cause they hurt.....and because I am lazy....that is the truth!
It is getting late and we need to do hatties dressing change. She needs it smells..
sigh
good night

Ahhhh you have busy times ahead too!!

You plans sound better than mine lol.

Ahhh I just really love most elderly people , most just want someone to talk to and I love hearing stories of there life , how they survived different eras in our history.

It’s hard to do exercises when things hurt. I’m slacking on my cervical spine exercises. Maybe tomorrow.

I hope your week goes easily so your not exhausted for your trip

I have 2 lists started .. one for things to do around our home, blow out the pipes etc and all our meds and extras plus all of Steve’s oxygen tubing, and portable bottles.

The other is for clothes, steve once forgot to pack socks lol so I write it all out for him.

The actually packing I do on Saturday as I’m washing clothes and Bed linens , towels. I have to come home to clean sheets and towels lol

I always take lots of old psych meds with me incase I start losing my shyt , I can just snow myself under until I get back home, I’ve only needed that once about 7 years ago.

I also pack a suitcase for our dogs, I take them each a huge bath towel, I put them down at the hotel so they know where to lay where we won’t trip over them, there food and treats, peanut butter to stuff in the kong balls to keep them busy. They are both about 60 lbs so they need there own suitcase, I’m just grateful they travel so well.

Taking a trip is a lot of work isn’t it ?

Yes taking a trip is a lot of work.

Since we are going north we have been watching the weather. looks like it will be in the 20's so lots of sweaters, long underwear. joy. I just changed the wind chill wiper fluid to 0 degrees so that is good. 2 new tires, oil change car wash.
We are looking at 33 degrees for an over night low which is unusual for us.
Have almost all of my gift buying done. I work till friday at 4;30pm then done. I have a waiting list of clients to see when I get back.....so business is good right now.

Yes you will need winter clothes !! We also make sure our car is all set to go.

33 is low for you I bet, apparently we will be low 20’s tonight.

Will be a nice break in Florida away from the cold. Back to flip flops and shorts lol
