I have delusions, such as I'm being watched, the local police are after me, I have bugs living under my skin, those are a few. I get those voices sometimes, I don't hear them outside my head, but inside rather. They rule me. It might just be OCD, but the "voices" say, "do this or --- will die" "do that or --- will abandon you" and am forced to do compulsions, like putting my shirt over my hand when turning doorknobs. I'm pretty sure this is just OCD but it's destroying my life just the same... I am losing myself... I'm fading away. The reason I'm posting this in Bipolar is because I'm Bipolar and this may be the psychotic feature part of my condition.

Do you have doctors irl that you can ask about this stuff? Not that I dont care I just hope that you have people helping you irl because this stuff- I have experience with some similar stuff- can be terrifying.

Yes, psychosis can be a part of bipolar disorder. But if it happens outside of mood episodes its possible it will be diagnosed as schizoaffective disorder. But thats all semantics imho.

It would be good to bring this stuff up with your doctor- it might mean you need a medication adjustment so that you can have a better- and less terrifying- quality of life.

In any case, Im sorry you are going through all of this and I hope that it gets easier.

You get a hug from me

I'm so sorry you're going through all of this It may be both Bipolar and OCD. Sometimes MI can overlap. I agree with Under*Over. I'd suggest to talk to your Pdoc about this and see how it goes from there. Hopefully he/she will be able to help you. You need to get all the help and support that you need and deserve. Do you have a support system IRL? Any friends or family member? I'm so sorry you're going through all of this. Please don't give up. I hope you'll feel better soon. Is there anything we can do to help you? Please let us know. Remember that we're here for you if you need it. Feel free to PM me anytime. Let me know if I can do something to help you. Wish you good luck! Let us know how it goes. I'm so sorry you have to deal with this
