I know it's good for us, but I just don't like dark chocolate. So, white.

What sort of exercise do you try to do?

I don't do even close to enough, but my husband and I take walks on weekends, and I guess any daily exercise (or close to it) is usually dancing.

Q: What healthy living task/skill/action are you pretty good at doing?

I guess if I had to say something it would be not sitting around feeling sorry for myself

I can't work and don't have a very good education, and that's fine- Ij ust make the best of it

what song/ artist are you really in to right now?

It's hard to pick. If I must pick, I'd say Cate Blanchett (still alive) and Katharine Hepburn (no longer alive). Add on: When confirming the name spellings, I found that Cate Blanchett actually portrayed Katharine Hepburn in a movie. I didn't know that. I guess I must just like their styles. I really liked that both can/could play both dramatic and comedic roles very well.

Q: Favorite male celebrity (need not be an actor, or could be)?

Tom Welling... He played Clark Kent / Superman in my favorite show of all time, Smallville. Now, I will watch just about anything he's in.

What is your favorite show of all time?

I don't really have one. I'm not big into TV or movies.

Do you speak more than one language?

Nowadays, not fluently, but I can hold a basic conversation in French and Mandarin Chinese, especially French. I also know a lot of Czech vocabulary and phrases, but have never reached conversational level in that language.

90% of the time, unless I am comatose, which is never anymore.

Who is the most importan female pop or rock vocalist of the 1970s in your opinion? Mine, by far, is Lind Rondtadt. Miraculous voice.

Though I know her voice doesn't compare to the quality of Linda Rondstadt's, I really liked Debbie Harry's.

I'm 2.5 weeks into an elimination diet and so ALL desserts sound perfect to me right now but if I had to pick I'd go with pumpkin custard my mom makes every Thanksgiving just for me (I don't like pie much). But give me another month and it could be totally different.

Do you like documentaries?

I really do, but I never seem to know where/what channels, etc. to find them on. 60 Minutes was interesting tonight. It was about how now there are, like, 8 million billion Great White Sharks off Cape Cod, where formerly, there were few.

Favorite tropical fruit.

East coast (Mid Atlantic state) vanilla cream filled donuts (or Long Johns). I don't mean Boston cream or other custard stuff. I'm talking vanilla whipped cream sweetened with lots of confectioner's sugar. I prefer the ones dusted with confectioner's sugar, but will eat the ones iced with chocolate, if they are the only ones left. [I prefer vanilla.] As for savory foods, a good meatloaf with mashed potatoes. I like meatloaf with an array of condiments (mustard, catsup, India relish, lingonberry preserves, and my great great grandmother's chili sauce).

Q: What is a comforting thing you do, when comfort is needed? Something other than eating.

When my psychosis and my mania, esp. the racing thoughts, get out of control, and every coping skill I have has been exhausted, I am left with my last resort skill. Which is, to crawl into bed, pull my weighted blanket up high to my chin, get my pillows just perfect, grab onto my bible and clutch it to my chest, and hold on for dear life.

A: Curl up under my weighted blanket and try to read or otherwise distract myself

Q: What is the most helpful thing a therapist has said to you?

"Your wife is a bit**." Best, most accurate counsel I ever got.

You?

Q: What is the most helpful thing a therapist has said to you?

A: (Sort of hard to follow, but we were talking about how I could manage to go to a small group at a church. I wasn't feeling safe between MI and general shyness. He finally told me that "I know why the rules keeping the relationships apart exist but I just know I could help you do this. You'd like my group; you and my wife would be friends and it would be so much easier for you". I don't know why that gave me courage but it did and I went to church a few weeks later and small group a few weeks after that.

Q: If you had to give up one food group what would be easiest and what would be hardest?

A: Easiest? Meat. I pretty much have done it and it's very easy for me. I don't miss it but a few times a year. Hardest? Fruit and broccoli. I love, love, love broccoli.

Q: Have you ever caught a really big fish?

No. I was a nature counselor at a camp for kids with special needs and spent a ridiculous amount of time doing fishing because I wasn't afraid to touch worms. We had a stocked pond so I've helped "catch" a lot of trout but none were big.

Q: Have you ever been ziplining? Would you do it if given a chance?

Crawl under my weighted blanket and try to read if I can, breathing exercises if i can't. If I need it I have a tape of my therapist walking me through progressive relaxation, done under the weighted blanket.

What is your all-time favorite tv show?
