If I’m depressed, I like to drink a warm beverage like hot cocoa. I find it soothing.
If I’m angry, I like to go outside for a walk to "cool off," and then I buy myself something small to keep me preoccupied, be it a book or lollipop. Whatever. Just something cheap. When I’m stressed, I also go out and buy something small to keep me preoccupied. |

Same here! warm beverage, usually coffee but sometimes hot cocoa. I also love taking walks, it's extremely helpful. And there's a really cool used bookstore here that has great stuff for like $2 to $4 dollars, books, DVDs, CDs and audiobooks. The stuff is in great condition and the price is perfect when I don't have much money and want to get myself a little treat

Showers always help me immensely. Especially if I have a nice shower gel or shampoo.

I don't treat myself the way you do. I just wait for the feeling to pass by distracting myself.
My hobbies are pretty technical, so there's lots of thinking involved, and there's nothing to buy for them. I can just do my thing. Plus there's lots to do around the house so I just pick something off a long list and do it until I'm tired or the feelings pass. If I'm too depressed to do anything I just watch Netflix or TV. Problem is that often these feelings last for weeks to months so there's been lots of time in front of the TV.

I read and come here on PC and randomly scroll on Facebook for hours.
And sometimes I go to bed and just stare at the wall or out the window.

I let myself indulge despite what other might think of me. I know myself and I know what my mind and body need to restore healthy homeostasis. What has been difficult for me is reintroducing healthy living habits that have worked for me earlier in my life before moving around so much these past years. Sweets and a notable drama to watch are my favorite for a night in.

I like to eat candy (big tubs of it) I like to watch a good tv programme or listen to some good music |

I watch Westerns or go to YouTube and watch anything to do with horses.
Playing games on Kindle I used to hang out on QVC as that is very uplifting to watch cheerful people there and that usually helps with mood. Play with my cat, he needs alot of attention anyway. \ Listen to booktapes Birdie |
