I've been bouncing in emotions as well the last few days. I cycle often, but it's been more frequent and now it's usually one day feeling one way then another day feeling the opposite. makes me stressed out. it's like my brain is on 2 switches and keeps turning on and off! I'm a bit on the low side, too. less energy than earlier. you may be mixed. glad your mind is a bit more quiet, tho. wish mine was.

Hopefully, you know what to do to soothe yourself. It probably takes some time to even out after a dose change. Please do seek help if you feel unsafe in any way.
Otherwise, take a hot bath, read a book, listen to soothing music, etc. Do anything that helps you! Hugs!!

Mania is defined as 7 full days of hypermotor activity, grandiose thinking, pressured speech, loosely tied language, extreme behaviors in spending or sexual activity, no need for sleep, alterations in perception like changes in perceptions of color and sound, frantic energy. There's more. Mania is destructive, life threatening, and in need of intense psychiatric intervention. If someone is concerned you are manic, only your psychiatrist can determine what your treatment should be.

Never let mania go untreated.

I agree with Miguel'smom -- did your cousin say why you should go to IP? I'm not saying you SHOULD go to IP just because your cousin said so. I'm just wondering what he/she told you.

Also, do you feel safe or like you're going to do something you regret? If you don't feel safe, then definitely reach out to a mental health professional.

IMO, you should ask to see your T earlier than Thursday. See if you can get an appt for today or tomorrow.

He’s booked all week. That was earliest he had last week when we scheduled!

I slept ok. Still sleepy.

My cousin didn’t say why I need up. She just said I never act like this and I should go

I’ve never made it but all it is is you take a spiced cake box mix and mix with one can of pumpkin. Bake. Then I’m even using store bought whipped cream cheese icing.
