Hi Everybody.

I am feeling extremly frutrated because of 4 manic episodes in the last two months. I need some support but my family and friends can't understand what I need right now. I am kinda disappointed by the thoughts that I will never find a cure whatsoever and that WHY ME?

I’m sorry things are so frustrating. While there’s no “ cure” for Bipolar it can be managed to lessen the amount of episodes. The “Why me “ bit?? Yeah we all can understand that part. None of us asked for this.

Are you working closely with your Pdoc to make any Med tweaks or changes to help level off the symptoms?

Do you have a Therapist you can talk to and learn coping skills with? Just someone to help you process thoughts and actions with.

Diet , exercise, mediation, good sleep hygiene.

Bipolar needs to be attacked (for lack of a better word) from all sides.

I hope that you will find ways to lessen the effect Bipolar has on your every day life.

Keep posting if it helps, we all “ get it” here

4 episodes in two months is a lot to handle. I am sorry you are going through this difficult time. I spent a lot of time trying to answer 'why me?'. There are infinite possible answers and none of them brought me comfort. I moved on to 'what now?' instead. That was a question with answers I could actually work with.

I found that Christina is spot on. You have the opportunity to attack bipolar disorder and attacking from all angles yields results. Research all you can, follow the advice of your doctor, work on yourself in therapy, take optimal care of your body by eating well and exercising, get the proper amount of sleep, and care for your spirit. Take control of as much as you can and you can rest better knowing you're doing your part and doing it well.

Sending good thoughts for a quiet mind and a peaceful day for you.
Thanks for this!
