I am a proud member of the coutch potato society and I'm not ashamed to admit it.

it used to bother me, but now it doesn't.

because it is who I am and that is okay

As I have mentioned elsewhere, I have a pretty rigid schedule I adhere to. Not because I have anywhere I need to be--I don't. Rather, I do it so I have a reliable, reproducible schedule that I can count on every day. I think it helps me with my illness. Otherwise, I can guarantee I would forget to do important things--laundry, eat, shower, take meds, etc. I am trying to make some adjustments to it to allow for a bit more flexibility, on the advice of some wise PC friends. We'll see how that goes.

None of them quite fit my situation, so I chose "other".

I do have a morning and evening routine, but I do some other things, but not usually stereotypical deliberate "exercise". I'm rather project oriented, so I do pleasurable and/or productive tasks. I am not busy all day long, but given the just mentioned, I don't say I do nothing. I run errands some days, that are productive. As part of some, I socialize. I'm a friendly outgoing person who strikes up conversations with people easily. People at some places know me. I even get some hugs from a few people at certain places. I like that. I usually have at least one appointment each week, plus my new volunteering on Wednesdays. Occasionally, I go to an AA meeting. I do various things, including relaxing, with hubby on weekends.

Maybe I could have chosen the "moderately busy" option. Beyond my morning/evening rituals, days vary. There are some things I don't do that I should more often. Some tasks are ignored because of less important ones. I'm notorious for that.

You know, what seems busy to one may not be to another. And vice versa. This has changed throughout my life.

2. I have morning and evening routine - skin care. Because I also have rosacea, so skin care is a must..
Other than that, I have a 9-5:30 job that I go every weekdays. I go to church every Sunday.
When I'm too much staying at home I feel restless and my mind turns negative so I try to get out as much as possible. I also am planning to go to gym again because gym helps me focus on physical sensations more than my mental mind.
My mental state is kind of bad I guess, programming helps me stay normal. Physical activity helps me stay normal too.
When I'm not doing anything or I don't focus on something my mind turns negative. So playing online games helps me distract myself as well

I wish I went to church more

it's a long story why I don't (not really for this thread), but I do enjoy it

Most days are moderately busy and some are nonstop. There's always someone to help or play with. There is usually someone in need of love or attention. Someone is usually hungry. There are endless chores to do. Activities need planning and facilitating. There's a steady stream of appointments to go to. Time is spent exercising and any time left goes to self care or relaxation.

I work during the day and twice a week at night, but in between I am devoted to my couch or bed.:

I'm not good with routine, and so sometimes I am a sloth, complete with algae growing on the fur, and other times I am pretty productive. Weekends are usually busy in unhealthy ways, unless I am unwell. I travel a bunch. Sometimes.

I only use Tapatalk so I can’t see the choices. But I’ll give my basic routine.

I do not have a set bedtime , chronic insomnia is a life long struggle so I sleep when I can.

I vacuum daily, I clean bathroom daily , I have finally learned how to pace myself when it comes to laundry. I change my sheets every 2 days. I just love fresh sheets.

I cook every single day. Maybe go out for a cheap burger at a local family owned restaurant. But that’s probably out now that we have another medical bill to pay monthly.

There are a few tv shows I enjoy. I’m binge watching Shameless, something we saved up to buy.

I try to walk daily but sometimes my pain just won’t allow it. I’m grateful for days I can do stretching of my whole body, sure it doesn’t burn calories but it’s difficult.

I do meditate daily and then of course use coping tools daily. I often sit and stare at my physical meds I need to take, 2 meds I just take on Sunday, Fosamax for my weak bones and a shot of Humira for PsA.

I am lucky to have my husband. I’m very grateful of having so many friends in my life from here on PC.

Its certainly not the life I thought I’d have at age 52 ! But it is what it is.

I'm moderately busy, and have somewhat of an active life was the option I chose. I'm not bored, I'm busy...but I'm very isolated.

I have to confess that I am a total sofa spud. I love my computer and my TV, even though I can't pay attention to both at the same time. I bestir myself to do dishes, take the occasional shower, and get out of the house on most days, but when I'm home I'm like glued to my spot on the big sectional. I'm not proud of this; I know I should exercise and meditate and all that, but I have neither the desire nor the motivation to do something that hurts and gets me out of breath, and I can't shut my brain up long enough to meditate. (I know---I've tried it.) So there. LOL

I am between moderately busy and non-stop. Work full time. Go out usually a night or two a week. Then there are errands to run and appointments. Time goes by fast. There is no one to rely on, so everything comes down to me. (I will have to work till I drop dead, short of something VERY unexpected happening). I am very good about vegging out most nights. Usually I'm exhausted by then.
