I forgot, I have pretty frustrating social anxiety.I have not followed thru with doing a few things with a friend of mine. She understands my anxiety issues...she is a therapist. So I would hope that she understands.
I missed her sons funeral. I never asked her for the details of the funeral of her sons death.
He died of an overdose of craton.
It is very addictive.
take it easy on your self. I hope zyprexa is what helps you with your anxiety.
my pdoc allows me to use 1.5 mg of klonipin Though I only take 1mg at night to sleep.

Result of 400+ question psych diagnostic test: First off, trauma (PTSD). The second is bipolar 2.

1/2 Zyprexa isn't helping much. A whole dose may be better.

I'm sorry that Trauma is also included. Honestly I haven't met a single person with Bipolar that doesn't have trauma. Often a trauma is what turns the Bipolar switch on. I hope that the Zyprexa becomes a helpful tool in allowing you to find some peace from chronic anxiety.

WHY do they make it so disorganized and very difficult to refill a medication I have been taking since it was prescribed to me months ago?! If I was going to sell drugs on the street Wellbutrin is probably not one I'd make much money on!

I need a higher dose (currently 5mg) of Zyprexa. The small dose is slightly helpful, but could be improved with a higher dose. Panic is better than it was, still "there", though. Like waves in my upper stomach.

10mg PRN Zyprexa is what they gave me when I was in the hospital this summer and that was a perfect dose for me. Only reason they switched me from Zyprexa to thorazine is because I was taking it very frequently and didn't want to gain weight.

I'm very concerned about weight gain, too. I wish my current pdoc was more open to prescribing the older AP's, but she insists on the newer ones.

I think a whole lot of people would have less challenge with their mental illness if providers were more empathetic. It would be easier for them, too.

Hi bizi, yeah...I was on visteril a few years ago. I stuck with it for several months, but it didn't do anything.

Nix the Zyprexa. Doesn't do anything for anxiety, but it makes me crazy-hungry.

Took a Klonopin and feel 80% more functional (less anxious).

I'm beginning to think that there are some people, myself included, who just need benzos. I think my pdoc is coming to that conclusion too. It's not so hard to see since I started tapering in 2019. I went from 2 mg hs to 1.75 mg hs. I managed to stay ok on that dose but without any more reductions through the time my father was dying and then after his death. In Aug. 2020 we went down to 1.5 mg and then my close family member died in December. This time I managed to stay on 1.5 with another .25-.5 as PRN. I'm still having trouble sleeping though and my pdoc said if I wasn't sleeping better with a new scheduled gabapentin dose at night that I was going to need to go back up. She knows how much I don't want that. I've been sick so I'll buy another month but she is adamant that I sleep more and better and that seems to mean more klonopin. I hate that I've seemed to have failed with the attempted reductions but I also want to sleep and that means less anxiety at bedtime...ugh. what a mess. If only she could be my pdoc forever but she's retiring in a few years.

Yeah, I have a history of sincerely attempted Klonopin reductions. I've probably given up on attempting, and failing, another reduction.

Too bad she's retiring. Hopefully the next pdoc you get will have respect for the work you did with your (retired) pdoc.

Couldn't make it through another day of hell, so I took one 4mg perphenazine. At this point I'm less anxious. Not ideal, but an improvement.

Many people find Geodon helpful, it seems. I gave it a good try. It did something weird with my sleep, unfortunately. I was dead tired all day and wide awake at night. That was unusual for me and presented a whole new problem. *sigh*

Okay. So. It seems the small dose of perphenazine has enabled me to have a less anxious day. A HUGE success.

It was a miracle when I went in patient after my last child was born and k went of my bipolar meds and had post pardum depression. But I had an old school doc I’d been seeing (21 years until she retired 2 years ago) and she just left me on it. It saved my life until last April I developed TD. Weaning off of it was so awful. Antipsychotics have their place and some people do need them forever but a TD assessment should have been done to see if my slowly progressing muscle movements were problematic. So I guess I’m just saying pay attention to your body.

Stop cogentin, she will not refill it. Reduce Pristiq while increasing Zoloft. In a week stop the Pristiq entirely. Next month "we" will discuss stopping the Wellbutrin. No more antipsychotics. Keep taking Lamictal. Keep taking Klonopin. That's all I can remember.

Yep! I swear that the woman is crazy. I'm stuck with her for now because there are no other options with my health plan. Supposedly a new pdoc will be starting at the clinic soon. *Fingers crossed*
