I don't have insomnia, but I hope you're able to get some quality sleep soon.

I wish there were a magic pill with 0 side effects that would work for you. My grandma has insomnia and the only thing that worked for her was Geodon -- but even that eventually pooped out on her.

Melatonin did nothing, Benadryl did nothing, Seroquel did nothing, Ambien did nothing, Zyprexa did nothing, Trazodone revved her up, Remeron revved her up, Depakote did nothing, etc. etc..

Another insomniac waving her hand. I finally gave up at 6am and started the dishwasher and washing machine. I might as well try to be productive.

I have to work this evening so I'm hoping that will wear me out

Went to sleep at 11 pm. Up at 1.30 pm wide awake. Haven’t slept straight through for a while. While I like the quiet of being up in the middle of the night I think sound sleep would be preferable.

Hope tonight (for my American friends) is a better night full of peaceful, restorative rest.

Thanks. I had fully recovered and was feeling great and then my kid got a bad cold and it seems he's passed it on to me. I'm coughing again (not terribly - but I'm praying that I don't end up taking any more time off).

Stocked up on hand sanitizer and cough medicine.

Great idea for a thread!
I am somewhere between insomniac and not. Time will tell! I almost feel worse when I sleep!
Love to All!

Going to read for a bit, then I’ll just stare at the wall and maybe I’ll doze off out of complete boredom??!

Oh well I’ll at least force myself to be horizontal for 4-6 hours.

I just got home from work - I took my nighttime meds but it's going to be a long time before I fall asleep.

Luckily, I have lots of Law & Order (the original version) on my DVR. I can usually fall asleep to that or Forensic Files.

——slept but woke up also. My non THC gummies helped me sleep but here I am, yes I’d,rather be sleeping too. Mixed episodes- phew. Just rest, everyone, maybe Netflix (most of those work for me if I turn away from the screen)or audiobooks.
Don’t want to do another gummy. This is a great idea Christina!

I sleep. I just belong to the screwy sleep schedule club. Can't stay awake past 8pm and wake up at like 2am for the day. Makes for a really long work day. I'm like dead tired by the time I get home and make dinner. Time change has me all messed up still.

I tossed and turned again all night. Got up and took my grandparents grocery shopping. Now I have to go to work for a while.

My Seroquel XR is pretty good at making me sleep well at night, but lord help me if I don't take it as scheduled. If I had to quit my Seroquel XR, I really would be scared for myself, unless I had some ultra sedating replacement. As it is, my Seroquel XR doesn't sedate me much beyond the sleeping hours.

I only slept 4 hours last night, but only because I was as sick as a dog.
