Not really. I'll drink flavored seltzer water and very rarely a root beer float, but that's about it.

Favorite song lyrics?

that song is a good song (all of me by john legend), and we all need someone like that- who will accept us for who we are.

Puccini's opera "Gianni Schicchi" has a particularly beautiful aria called "O mio babbino caro" aria. Also love "Rusalka" by Dvorak. Maybe "Rusalka" is my absolute favorite.

"The Bird in the Gravel" by Jane Siberry. She's a Canadian artist. It's really more audio performance art than a song. There are different characters, spoken parts, time changes, etc. It's about ten or twelve minutes long. I discovered it at 21 and 32 years later it is still my favorite song, sooooooooooooooo beautiful and poignant!

Do you think the distinction between being right (as in correct) and being kind is important? Faces with the choice, what do you choose?

Sometimes it is right to be kind I usually try to be both. If I can only choose one I choose right assuming that means truthful.

What is the worst med side effect you've ever dealt with?

Akathisia from too much Seroquel. Awful.

What age were you when you had the best year of your life? Why was it the best? How long ago was it? Do you think you'll top it?

Did you consider covid a hair disaster, or did it not really affect you?

I'm sorry IZ about my hair question. I wasn't trying to be flip. I was thinking that this just has impact on all areas of life and that my sister cut her own hair today. Quarantine hair has become a family joke and I just put those things together.

I know the virus has far great impacts on everything and I do take it seriously. Several people from my church have had it. I'm at over 5 months of self-isolation because my mom and I are both high risk. I'm not going into more details about it in my life but just please know I didn't mean of offend.

Again, I apologize to anyone I offended.

Offense?? Whaaa? No worries, beyondtherainbow! No offense whatsoever. I've considered it a disaster. My hair was getting to be such a scene until I got it cut just this week. And not even to a style I want. Just a fix-up-the -weird-grow out utilitarian thing. My hair used to be distinctive, now, bleh. This makes me kind of sad.

Anyhow, it was a sincere question. We've all taken so many dings -- large and small -- and that has been one for some folks, myself included.

(We've been calling it "covid hair". )

Ok, thanks IZ. I'm so glad I misunderstood!

My hair is.....interesting. It's long and very curly and has now gotten past my bra strap. It had layers but those are probably gone now. I no longer can do anything with it except a braid or a messy bun. I imagine it will be really bad before I feel safe enough to let someone get close enough to cut it. So pretty much a disaster but at least it is long enough I can pull it back.

Do you have nights you can't sleep and can't figure out why?

Last night. I usually sleep really well. I had insomnia for two days in July and then psychosis set in. I now know loss of sleep is a huge red flag for me.

Favorite flavor of tea?

In the morning, but it cleared up as the day went on. It was actually a very pleasant light right. I had the window open. Very relaxing!

Do you still enjoy your birthdays? If so, what most? If not, why?

I don't like my birthdays

simply put: it gives me a chance to reflect on the negative

I'm 1 year older (so 1 year closer to the end)
I've done nothing over the past year, so am completely wasting my life

I have no friends to wish me a happy birthday

and it just seems a bit pointless... it's just another day honestly

sorry to those who like celebrating, but it's just not for me

actually never has been: even when I was a child, I'm not sure I ever enjoyed them

think their was one birthday when I was a toddler.. we went to mcdonalds. anything with mcdonalds is fun

anyway long enough response

are you bothered by noise?. if so, which noise/ noises bother you most
