Question: if you have a birthday between now and February.... how will you spend it what will you do to make it special? We all need to be treated and to treat ourselves right?

I believe that there's "something" to tarot. Maybe our subconscious energy affects the outcome of the cards. I owned a beautiful Aquarian deck that I had for 52 years, but it was stolen. Fie on the person who stole my deck. I used to do readings, and I have had readings done for me. Mostly, it's a game to me.

Are you doing any chores today?

I have Friends box set and use it to fall asleep most nights. I'm going to buy the Office set too. The price went up after Christmas and I missed the lower price because I didn't expect it to go up as fast as it did.

Have you ever planted a tree?

Yes. When I was little my brother gave me a seedling for my birthday. But it got ripped up when a man came with his plow to till my mom's vegetable garden

Are you nervous (covid-wise) going out and shopping for essentials? Or do you feel pretty safe as long as you safe distance and have your mask on?

I have not (I would have done if I'd known someone already who was homeless).

Favourite place you've lived? (location)

I can't be 100% sure since as a child one can deny, hide, or just misunderstand what's going on. I do believe I likely had symptoms before age 14, but I can say with certainty that I had them at 14 and on. My first severe episode was at age 16. That year my school even forced my parents to send me to a child psychologist. I was also transferred to a private school because of what was going on with me. During that period, I also "sought God" despite never being religious (nor were my parents), to the point of joining the Roman Catholic church. I was hyperreligious.

If you could walk outside right now and see anything you'd like, what would it be?
Thanks for this!

Sunshine, and a friend who could give me a hug.

Is your home drop in visit ready, or would you be embarrassed if someone saw the state of your home? I would be ashamed, I've just not been able to keep up, despite doing my best each day.

Definitely not ready for a ''normal'' visitor. They would not be approving of it at all.

Do you like the snow?

No, I don't like the snow. It's cold and wet and you have to shovel/scrape your car in order to go anywhere. And if they don't scrape the roads its very slippery out.

What are your children doing these days?

Nothing. No cubs (as for my inner cub though.. )

Do you find eating nuts (mixed nuts etc which I'm eating now) improves your mood sometimes? Any other feel good foods you enjoy?

You know, I think it does just a tad. I feel better after eating chili too, I think it's mostly the beans.

What biome do you live in (desert, taiga, rainforest, etc)?

Grey, cold and dismal.

What does not being depressed feel like for you?

I'm asking this in all seriousness, I don't remember what not being depressed feels like - it's been that long. I'd like to know what not being depressed feels like from a person with bipolar disorder.
Thanks for this!

This is hard to answer. I guess that things are easier, life is brighter and I can do more than I used to do when depression was in control. I don't know if this is what you were looking for though; it's abstract and I'm sorry for that.

What is your favorite restaurant (type of food is fine)?

Recently it has been a place called Shu House, which is an authentic Chinese restaurant that specializes in Szechuan cuisine. Love it!

What was one of the more memorable meals you have had in your life?
Thanks for this!

No this was helpful, and exactly what I was looking for - thank you so much

Now that you've put it into words, that's what not being depressed is like for me too, but I couldn't remember. And the reminder gives me hope.
Thanks for this!

A chickpea, sweep potato and spinach curry that I had at The Big Carrot in Toronto, more than 20 years ago. I still think about it sometimes.

What's a movie, good or bad that you watched many years ago, that you still think about once in awhile?
