Eating and not moving if I'm honest.

A day or two ago when I walked from the bedroom to the shower. I'm all heebie jeebie about being barefeet in the house.
I've got snow on the brain because we just got some overnight and I'm anticipating snowblowing today. What's the best food for you to nosh on during a cold and snowy day? (I'm thinking a nice order of Chinese food here) |

I like creamy soups and fresh bread when it’s snowing and cold out. Did you follow your childhood dream career? ( I wanted to be a marine biologist. I did not follow my dream.)

Kinda... I wanted to be a Special Needs Teacher or Educational Psychologist. After High School I didn't have the grades so I was prepared to work hard. I volunteered while still at school in a local Primary School and I volunteered in an organisation that delivers respite to children and young people who have special needs. After High School while still doing the above I went to college and studied to be a Classroom Assistant (work from the bottom up) that didn't quite work so I went to work for a charity that offers respite to adults with complexed needs. I'm currently on disability due to bipolar.
Question: How would you rate your life after getting a bipolar diagnosis? 0- 10 (0 being a total right off the worst and 10 being the best thing ever to have happened to you) |

I would say a 6. So before I was diagnosed with bipolar disorder, my life was bad. After I was diagnosed I at least got some therapy and medication to help. Since I’ve been diagnosed my mother has passed away. That has not been easy for me and my Issues have been pretty chronic since then. I recently started on some new medications so I have hopes that this will do it. What is your dream home?

a downton abby style house, with servants and stuff.
have you seen downton abby?. did you like it? |

I have not seen Downton Abbey. My brother has watched it though and he loves it. Patriotic question here… Have you thought about things you could do to help your country? That has been on my mind a lot. I don’t feel that I have done enough for my country.

No idea.
Were you ever asked when about aged 20 ''where do you think you will be in 5 years time'' in a job interview, and did you dislike this question?

I do think the question has merit, not only for the hiring manager, but for the interviewee. One generally wants to know what the career path is. I've interviewed for positions that I decided against. The interview is a two-way street. How close to your interests has any particular job been for you? |

Very close... I wanted to work with people with special needs and I did both voluntary and paid for over 10 years. It gave me so much experience, I gained a lot of respect for individuals with disabilities and I saw the outcome of sheer hard work from both client and worker.

I have no problem wearing a mask. Remembering, yeah, that's a problem, but actually wearing them is not a problem at all. Wore one while working outside in humid 90+ degree weather over the summer, wear one while skiing or hiking on busy days (usually I just keep it in my pocket and put it on when I hear people coming when hiking though). People that complain about having to wear one while in the grocery store are wimps. I will say, last time I went skiing it was below 0F and I only have a cotton mask (my face mask doesn't stay over my nose very well so I can't wear it) so it was a solid brick of ice, but I can't imagine it being any worse than a beardcicle.
When's the last time you got precipitation and what type was it?

Actually, on the topic of novels, I'd say reading long books or novels is something I have trouble with now. I actually read a great deal, but it's now easier to read many many shorter articles/bits than to commit to a single long written piece. In my youth, I could sit for hours reading a single book. I haven't read one, cover to cover, in a long time. I'm almost embarrassed to say so. What is your favorite kind of reading (or writing) to do? |

journalling, because it's all just so random and you can say what you want. for ages now I've wished this forum would have a private journal section
also I like poetry- both reading it and writing it what is the best meal that you have ever had. |

I have felt embarrassed by many things I've posted here - but I'd have very little to post if I avoided the embarassing things I guess. There are many things I still keep private.
