Weeping willow. Not because of "weeping" as any symbolic thing. I just simply think it's a beautiful tree. Always have.

Is there a sound, smell, physical feeling, or sight that you have always loved that brings about positive (not negative) nostalgic feelings?

I love flowers! I think my favorite is the California Golden Poppy. They look like drops of sunlight turned into flowers.

What are 2 things about autumn that you are looking forward to?

I really like smooth jazz that has clarinet. So maybe clarinet.

It's almost officially Autumn. Name a song that makes you think of the autumn season. Doesn't have to be seasonal. Just something that you like to play this time of year, or the likes.

This will sound odd, but when I was a little kid there was a music teacher that told us all she was a witch (albeit a good witch). We always played an auto harp. I specifically remember a silly song that went something like "Stirring and stirring and stirring my brew....Ooooooo, oooooooo, Ooooooo, oooo. Stirring and stirring and stirring my brew. Repeat the ooos. Tick tock, tick tock, tick tock, BOOOOO!"

Is there something you miss either from youth or from a former place you lived? What is it?

I have only one blood nephew. I had a second, but we lost him to bipolar depression in 2017. My husband has three nephews and two nieces, but we're only close to his youngest two nephews.

When you were a little kid, what profession did you want when you grew up?

being in control of my life and destiny, and not having people like parents tell me what I can and can't do.

that, and living alone and having my own space

if you could stay at 1 age forever, what age would it be? (and why)

Honestly, it's hard to pick an age. It would all depend on other factors. For example, if I chose 21 years old, would I ever meet my husband? At some other ages, I would have been dealing with severe or concerning untreated bipolar symptoms. As for my current age, I suppose I could stay as I am, but make progress in areas of my life. But who really knows what's to come. If I have to choose, I'd say my current age (late 40s). I still feel and look fairly young, in many respects. I like that I have the wisdom that I didn't have in my younger years.

At what age did you learn something significant that in some way changed your life for the better?

I guess when I learned to use the internet (at age 9 or 10)

now I rely on it for everything- beforehand, my life was pretty empty (it still is, but at least I have a way to talk to people)

do you remember your first online experience?

Grease with John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John? Yes, many times. "I got chilllllls, they're multiplying. And I'm loooosing my control. I got power! It's electrifying. Feel the..." [I'll stop at that.] I like John Travolta.

What actor/actress or other artist (singer, etc) do you think is the hottest?

none.

I don't look at people " that way". when I watch someone act, or listen to someone sing, I don't look at the screen and go oh... he's ugly. or he's cute. or what ever. someone told me the other day that she liked tom hanks movies, and when I asked why she's like well.. because he's just cute and lovely. no... that isn't me. I watch it for the acting, not how cute the actor looks

what is the longest movie that you have ever seen? (I mean all the way through, not just bits of it)
