Bear

I get to eat as much as I want to, nobody is stupid about me being fat, I hibernate all winter and in the spring I have cute furry cubs

ETA Question - favourite holiday destination?

Something on the order of 30 times.

What is the biggest move you ever made?

I hauled @$$ out to Vancouver once (from Ontario). It turned out to be a wrong move (haha) so i get very nervous when i hear people talking about moving far away.

What's the best thing you like about PsychCentral?

The people. I could do without 99% of the features and utilities here. I just think its the people that make this place feel original and safe to me.

Do you tend to have a better time in the colder months than the warmer months or the opposite?

I like the snow, honestly. It makes the world feel brighter. I have hopes that the world will be better in those months. It has to be, right? I don't even mind shoveling. This will be the first year I'll have had my diabetes under control though and I'm very susceptible to the cold now. So we'll see. Lots of 'surprises' this year.

Have you had any pleasant surprises this year and if so, would you share?

Yes. I have met a few/some/several/many lovely people (online but I already had several online friends who I consider real friends)

Do you prefer to avoid certain topics of conversation?

Hard question. No idea right now, I'll come back to this.

Have you ever been accused of intentionally doing ''bad'' things, when this was not the case? If so, what were these things?

once I was accused by the administrator of another website of sending her hateful private messages. I was online at the time, posting to the forum so I couldn't be on the private message feature

it was someone else sending them, pretending to be me.

but she didn't see it that way and banned me from the site. (long friendship finished that way))

another time, I was told that it was because of me that the computers were down (I was apparently sending junk mail to the main server)

but it was someone outside who had hacked in to the network.

do you generally believe life will get better for you?. or this is as good as it gets

It is not something I usually think about (I do believe almost everyone is capable of positive growth and change, including of course everyone here)

If you've ever had a ''best friend'' aside from a spouse or ''family''.... name 2 of their ''best'' characteristics (and also aside from an animal, dog etc)

My human best friend is honest (even when it's difficult) and kind (she'd do anything for me and vice versa)

Do you have a nickname?

a mountain of fries.

so it's not really a proper answer, granted, but how can anyone have a favorite mountain. I mean, if you were really in to geography and views, I guess. but it's not something that comes up in daily conversation and by the way... what is your favorite mountain. lol.

what do you think about the possibility of space travel in the future. would you go to space?

I would not go to space. Not my dream! I think some of it is not value added. I guess I like that there are satellites, and maybe asteroid detection is useful, but going to Mars? No. I see all of the money spent for that as an adult boy child's big expensive toy dream. Obviously, my opinion only.

Have you ever gone tent camping?

yes, and I absolutely hated it!. the tent was covered with bugs, the entertainment was... well, far from apealing, and the food was gross!.

we split in to diffrent animal groups. pretty sure I belonged to the owls.

I remember just breaking down 1 day and telling this woman angela.. look, I've had enough. I want to go home

plus: I was bullied by a couple of the other campers. they'd see me around and start picking on me.

it wasn't all bad though, because they had a sweet shop. opened for like an hour every day, and guess who ended up buying all the sweets.

Possible trigger:

which of your 5 senses do you think is the strongest for you?. when you walk in to a room, what kicks in first

No. I don't think gun ownership should be an automatic right, especially not some wartime or Terminator types. That's not to say I am totally against them, but only for reasonable purposes and they must be had with proper licensing and background checks. What I refer to is allowable game or deer hunting, as examples. And only true hunters, not some sucker shooting from a pickup truck, for the sake of shooting. Of course I believe military and law enforcement need firearms, but believe they also need proper training for proper use. Use when only truly necessary!

Have you eaten any game meat before?

Sure. Venison and moose. The moose I remember as being very much like hamburger. Not as gamey.

Have you ever eaten octopus?
