I completed 13 years if education i got 8 Standard Grades (Scottish equivalent to GCSE's in England), this was when I was 16 years old. I got a further 5 qualifications in 5tg year when I was 17 years old and I got 3 more grades in 6th year when I was 18 years old. I got grades when I was 16 in (English, Computing, Science, Maths, PE, Music, Modern Studies and German). I continued with some of those subjects in my final 2 years and got grades in Maths, English, Music, Modern Studies, German and lastly Singing (this grade was a huge thing for me).
I went to college after school and completed but did graduate I was studying to be a Classroom Assistant as I wanted to be a teacher. I'm not smart enough for university unfortunately Question: How do you handle stress? Do you handle it well or not so well or not at all? |

You're so lucky! I saw HM and Prince Philip once when they came to California, also Prince Charles at another time. They are all so lovely and gracious.

What do you know about your neighbours? |

Our next door neighbor to our right is a young family from China. There is an adorable 4 year old girl who LOVES to talk. Super gabby, very friendly, and cute! She plays most of the day with another little girl down the street. She likes that girl, but sometimes complains about her to me. Yesterday she said the girl hits her a lot. In response, I told her to to tell her mom so she can talk to the friend's mom about it. Sometimes I speak a little Chinese with her, but she is fluent in English to the degree of most other 4 year olds in the US. She's smart! She likes my husband, too. Her mother speaks good English, but her father and grandfather (who also lives with her) don't. Sometimes I comment, in Chinese, about the weather to the grandfather and he laughs. As for the neighbors to my left side, they are all graduate students at the university and of Chinese ancestry. One of them is a young woman whose parents bought the house and her car for her. She's sort of a bit spoiled-like. One of them crushed my husband's car door with their car, but won't admit to it. I confess that I had a bit of a tough talk with her the other day finishing with a "Hit and runs are not nice!" Won't change much, I think. Other neighbors are less familiar to me. There happen to be a lot of people from China, originally. One very old man walks on the road a lot. He also does meditation. Yesterday, I saw him stand in the same place for what seemed 30 mins, with his eyes closed. Maybe he reached Nirvana? What foreign language(s) did you study, even to a small degree? |

French and Latin O level, a bit of Italian at University and one term of German after I got married (I wish I'd stuck at that, it was quite fun. I didn't feel like going to the Christmas get together, although the people were nice. I was too ''avoidant'' then grrrr)

Modern Studies.... studied it all 6 years of High School. It is politics. I learnt a bit about China (1 child policy), a bit about America (Health care), International issues (NATO and UN) and a lot of UK politics (Scottish powers aka Devolved Powers and UK powers aka Reserved Powers)
Learnt about voting and the use of FPTP (First Past The Post system) which the UK use for voting. Very appropriate as that year I was getting to vote for the very 1st time when I was 18 years old. Visited The Scottish Parliament and spent a week working as a Witch Doctor to The First Minister (Amazing job got to travel to Edinburgh every day for this via a train felt so grown up lol) Learnt so so much and to this day I'm still interested in politics. I really liked learning about the wars in Bosnia, Kosvo, Ireland (a bit) etc. Now a days the kids get taught about 9/11 etc Question: Least favourite subject to learn at school? |

I never had a first love, so no I don't.
and: oh dear about being burned. used to be terrified of the bunsen burners. terrified of them question: if you went back to school today, do you think you'd have done anything diffrently? (payed more attention in some subjects, been better behaved etc) or are you generally happy with how you performed. |
