And showing this somewhat female vulnerability to the planet and my people without shame or fear of reprisal from other macho males in our culture. It is difficult to be an exquisitely sensitive man. We have our own double standards to not live up to. He is too sweet. Therefore, I will cheat on him and destroy him because I am a freaking beotch. Or. Or. . He is mean to me and treats me like an object. Etc. You get the idea.

So, it really is virtually imposskble to meet the needs of many modern women. In my view. Unreal standards for us. Then, they cheat. Same thing every freaking time. And they blame us. I blame them. Them and their teenagerish inability to douse their womanly hormones xith something that could actually save the marriage. I'll take faith in God for 5 zillion, Alex.
I'm so glad to read that you have a little more hope today, my friend. You should! I know how hard downswings can get, but you WILL find happier days ahead. Always have hope. Always!

I am married to a very sensitive man, and I adore him exactly how he is. I do sense something similar in you, to the degree that I can only through forum posts. That characteristic in you is part of what endears me to you.

It is sad when both men and women show negative traits that become hurtful, or jeopardize relationships. Yes, I agree that there are plenty who have them, but there ARE many who don't, so much, or at all. My husband first married a woman he now calls "B****". She left him for another man, in a very nasty way. [Funny fact: Her name was Šárka, which in Czech is pronounced like "Sharka". And by chance, she is also a lawyer. Good one, huh? ] Anyway, my husband always tells me that he left the "sharks" behind.

My first love was the one that broke up with me. One day he declared that he didn't love me, anymore. I was shocked to my core! I am not one to easily fall in love, but when I do, I always feel it is forever. I couldn't understand how/why he wouldn't feel the same. But it was just as well, in the end. I went on to find my true love.

You are so extremely worthy of love, my friend! You simply need to find the lady out there that properly recognizes it. She's out there. Have you looked within the church? Or perhaps one day there will be a magical moment and your God will deliver that person to you.

I refused to get up this morning. No cake of anything so I deserve to sleep in on my birthday. Had a really crazy awesome dream. I love getting dreams. Was thinking of staying in pjs all day but now thinking of going to the store for cheesecake.

I've been laying low and taking it easy, for the most part. However, I had quite the anger outburst a little while ago. Tomorrow is my husband's birthday, so I ordered some nice things (and a pear frangipane) from Whole Foods, for delivery. As I was unloading, I saw that the packer or delivery person had the nonsensical idea of packing the frangipane on its side. The whole contents of it slid to one side, ruining its appearance. Yup! Ballistic, I confess. After talking to four people (Whole Foods and Amazon), I did finally get one customer service rep to not only give me a refund, but also arrange for a delivery person to redeliver a brand new (hopefully perfect-looking) frangipane before 3 pm. That will be free, as well. Normally they'd never deliver just one item, but...I have ways of persuading. Anger alone doesn't always work. In fact, it can make things harder. So, I told them I was on the verge of tears because A, B, C & D. That worked.

Here's a photo of what the frangipane looked like, when it arrived. Again, I hope the one that arrives soon is perfect.

Update: They just delivered the replacement frangipane and it looks perfect. They packed it properly. I made a point to ask them to communicate how it needs to be packed. That should, hopefully, prevent future mishaps for other peoples' orders.

I just want to let everyone I can FINALLY pick my medication up Monday. I've also taking an online art class. I haven't been Suicidal all day granted I got up at 1 pm. Even my ED hasn't bothered me today. So far 8/10 day.

Beth it's a patron page. I have to substitute a lot because I don't use solvent and only have a very limited budget but I have Prismacolor pencils, some markers, acrylic paints, and pencils that I have collected over the years.

Was a beautiful day here. I didn’t even need a coat. Bought an unpronounceable French cake instead of cheesecake cake. Waiting a bit before eating it. Mm it looks good. It’s white chocolate and raspberry.

I took mom out for a pink drink from Starbucks and then watched Christmas programs and documentaries with her all afternoon. We had a good time.

Is it me or do you sometimes feel like you’re on a hamster wheel? Just going through the motions? Maybe it’s SAD kicking in or that my daughter just left yesterday but it feels like that to me. Good thing I have therapy Monday and my NP shortly after. Oh well! Tomorrow is another day.

Hugs to all.

People are always attracted to the fire until they get burned.

I think I found someone who can tolerate the pain

Thank you! That's so nice of you to say. That was 7 photos out of 157 or something that I took. I take a lot of photos trying to get the shot I want and trying to get the shots in focus. I had to speed up the shutter speed for some of these so that just holding the camera didn't make the photos blur from my hands moving/shaking. If you'd like you can look at more of my pictures at flickr. com I'll message you with a link.
